What an odd coincidence that during Glenn's "talk" with the Cracker Barrel CEO, every regional, division, general and local manager just happened to be in that one location on that particular day.
The biscuits ain't bad, but the hard butter in the container that is near impossible to open would be a good place to make a change.
Look at how visibly disgusted Glenn is. He doesn't want to get his hands dirty mingling with the common folk. And that blonde manager almost choked on the hilt.

This was about as cringy as it gets. Your signaling of virtue made the real working peoples lives there exponentially more difficult. They just want to sling the hashbrowns with as little trouble and complexity as possible, and get back home to rest their aching dogs. But they had to deal with the buzzing hoard of talking heads most of their shift instead.
Never been to Cracker Barrel pretty sure I would never go in my lifetime but now I can say I will never go there!
Those biscuits were too stiff. They baked badly. the biscuits are supposed to be light and fluffy…I know, because I made them for years…
Hopefully they will keep the interiors classic Craker Barrel. Glenn is the Craker Barrel dough boy.
Instead of putting in booths why did n't they nust put cushions on the chairs it would have been cheeper and ztill keep the old timie feel.

Is this how they make them in every location and at all times? I have noticed the biscuits are not as fresh as they once were. They used to be fresh every time. Now most of the time when I go they are warmed up and harder than they used to be. I am hearing reports they are not cooked fresh, but are being frozen and reheated.
Always loved eating there. Hopefully they continue to be an American tradition.
A lot of complaining here….with all the negative publicity lately, I tried the local Cracker Barrel and I had a great meal, good service, reasonable prices. I loved the homey atmosphere too. Glad to hear and see the food isn't frozen and heated up in the microwave. Yeah they have had their problems but what restaurant hasn't. Americans are always complaining.
Was in our Cracker Barrel last week. Nothing has been changed except the menu is back to producing hot good food. Fireplace going and memorabilia on the walls. Keep it or lose their customer base.
