Being remade into the Image of God is a different Christian narrative then we usually hear. Jesus is the truly human one who represents God’s reign on earth and we are joined with him through the Holy Spirit to participate in that reign.

    With the divinity of Jesus, can we rightly say he didn't pick up on something at least as much as one of his apostles? So would it probably just be the first of those two?

  8. Could knowledge of good and evil come with the moral responsibility of good and evil. I’m just typing out my thoughts but it seems there is a relationship with knowledge and responsibility. So human didn’t just take the ability to define good and evil for themselves but also the credit for good and evil. Human were naked they took the knowledge and decided naked was bad and felt responsible for the bad and felt shame and hid from God. Could it be that good and evil are not only God’s to define but also his responsibility which is why he saved us all from the burden of being responsible for good and evil. The closer I draw to God the more is revealed and it seems like God has been doing everything and had this plan since he first separated light from dark and began creation. So all the credit is his and this self judgement of peoples flaws somehow being bigger than God is incredibly self centered and demeaning of God. That would be the same as saying sin is bigger than God which could never be true. Beating yourself up and saying your so different that God can’t save you is nearly the same as not believing you need to be saved because it’s all revolving around you and what you can do under your own power

  10. 36:04 Wait…I'm confused. In Genesis 2:1 after the days of creation, most bible translations use the word completed (or finished) Doesn't that mean that the Hebrew translation of the bible mentions creation as perfect as well🤔

  12. The tree of life is right there…. they weren't told not to eat from that…. so why choose the other tree… the only one the were not supposed to eat from ….Knowledge….not just knowledge…. but knowledge of good and evil….

  13. This question may be answered in the video, I just got it and haven't watched yet but I didn't want to forget it. What does humans being made in the image of God mean for us when we aren't acting idk "Godly" for lack of a better adjective? Like is it strictly our physical appearance that is in the likeness of God or is it also how we act and behave; and if so what does that mean when we aren't good or when people act outright bad or evil to one another? Is that still showing aspects of God or is that just humans polluting the image through our own wrong action?

  17. wellll, wait… they were banished form the garden lest that get back to the Tree of Life and live forever, so that means once they eat they live forever, not that they have to "continue" to eat, once you eat from it ONCE you live forever… otherwise they could eat, then stop eating and they die. the wording says they only had to get the the tree ONCE and they live forever.

  18. Ok yeah, this is what I'm talking about – are there 2 different gospels?? I definitely grew up with the version that he keeps saying is not what the bible is talking about. Or is it more like 2 different versions of what people interpret the bible's story to be and we're all still Christians? Am I getting the gospel mixed up with the story of the bible? These are the thoughts that swirl through my mind every day. Why does it just sound so different?

  19. I don’t understand how you came up with the idea that ALL humans were supposed to be representatives of God on earth… that’s assuming that the narrative is about all humanity. In my opinion, Genesis is about a couple chosen by God to be his representative and placed in his garden. Placing them apart of the rest of the world to represent him. The story focus on them cause they were the chosen ones… they probably were other humans in the story not even mentioned (Cain after murdering Abel was probably afraid of them).’’ But the Bible always has been about elected ones and the others. First there was a couple and the thing is, God decided to grow the family. The family became a tribe, Israel, that became a nation and with Jesus, finally to those who chose to follow him, the believers from all around the world. Not the entire world cause those who are not born again are not part of the covenant, they can be if they repent but there are not part of the plan. Believers are the image of God, the light of the world. Not the entire humanity.

God teaches me and a lot of persons around the world by an amazing way through your work, and that's 😱. I speak Spanish, but I also speak English very well, thanks God. One day, God has put a desire in my heart. I want to serve him. One day, I told him: Lord, I want to serve You. I want You to give me the chance to serve You. He listened to me. A few weeks ago, I tought that there are more resources in English than in any other language. I am able to translate.     Good (god) creates joy, beauty and harmony (heaven).
    Vampires (greed) create misery, ugliness and conflict (hell).

    Humans (love) are made in the image of good (god).
    Vampires (greed) are made in the image of dogs, wolves and pigs.

    Vampires (greed) are blind and cannot see the ignorance of transforming heaven (peace) into hell (war). The capitalist counting corpses are also blind and cannot see the ignorance of destroying the planet.

    Unlike earthling poets, artists, musicians, mystics, human beings and creators of joy…the capitalist counting corpses that rule US can't create harmony (real intelligence) because vampires (greed) are ignorant (dead).

    Vampires (greed) who suck the joy out of life have joined the zombies who eat the futures of their children.

    Zombie Apocalypse is here and happening now.

    Question. Why are the evangelical counting corpses using the bible as a springboard to perform somersaults to do the exact opposite of "love their neighbors" and "treat others like they want to be treated"?

    Answer. This is sick. Because these simple concepts are too far out there to grasp for vampires and zombies.

    Weapons into ploughshares

    Or at least weapons into pianos, paint brushes and joy creating stuff like that.

  22. Christ means anointed. He is the opposing/reconstituted “son of god”(Mar 16:16) . Historically, Kings were “anointed” sons of god. They were rulers, the GOVERNMENT in their land or domain. Keep in mind the theme of the gospel is the kingdom Isa 9:6 (social contract – supplanting the kingdom of the wise of this world)

    Php 3:20 For our CITIZENSHIP is in heaven(high places); whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ(embodiment of the kingdom conceived from the beginning):
    Php 3:21 who shall fashion(mould/image) anew the “body of our humiliation”, that it may be conformed(in the IMAGE of) to the “body of his glory”, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.

    Do you see a citizenship originally envisaged and conceived, but went awry in the greater scheme of things from the beginning, which has come in the form of the “word became flesh”(John 1:14), to save the world/humanity from the “body of humiliation”(also known as the body of sin Rom 6:6) that it may be conformed to his “image”(gen 9:6)?

    Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and TABERNACLED among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.

    The tabernacle is the “body of glory”. The “sovereign will” requires structural access and only rests on that body. The task of building “the temple” thus lies in the redeemed( these are not the religious convert of the absurd doctrine of atonement)

    Joh 2:19 “Destroy this Temple(body of sin),” Yeshua answered them, “and in three days I will raise it(tabernacle) up.”

    The temple is not your human body. Neither is it a religious organisation(the Christian church) or a religious building(in Israel). The body in which his “glorious will” shall inhabit is where the laws of the land are formulated and executed.

    Mat 3:10 And now also, the axe is laid to the root of the trees(kingdom). Therefore every tree which does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the FIRE.

    Hence your nation is on…fire because you are not able to see that the IMAGE is not an idol/deity that has taken form in believers through ethical/character transformation but rather a hidden model of a reconstituted government(tabernacle) of god on earth, already in progress or at hand.

    Has your government(the house of lawmakers) been reconstituted? (Rev 11:15)

    NO. They are serving mammon(Mat 6:24)

    It has not because the three Abrahamic religions are clueless.

    And warn them (O Prophet) of the Day of Regret, when all matters will be settled, while they are (engrossed) in heedlessness and disbelief. (Qur'an 19:39)
    Indeed, it is We Who will succeed the earth and whoever is on it. And to Us they will (all) be returned. (Qur'an 19:40)

Sharing your knowledge and understanding has really helped me see and understand God‘s word more clearly from what it really is saying. This conversation helped me break off the same falsities I had about the stories that you guys talked about
