Except you are the one who doesn't follow Jesus's teachings. You are the one who is corrupted, not me.
You can feel it all you want. But you are flat out wrong. And if you read your bible you would know.
I fell exactly the same way ^.^
You just dont get it. Im done with you; you are corrupted beyond repair. Ive wasted more time then someone like you deserves.
How do I not lead an example like his? I dont go around pushing people over and not feeling guilty about it. Thats kind of the point. When you KNOW something is wrong. You also should treat people like you would want to be treated. we could always just eliminate marriage, then it would be fair.
But thats outlandish.
Im pretty sure you can legally marry your cousin in New Hampshire.
And if someone wants to marry a Cat, they go ahead (As long as the cat is of legal age though…) Its not really our problem unless we are the ones doing it. Cause then we worry about what people like you think. Now, a car is kind of a ridiculous example. its not alive.
Oh, and I know what you are going to say to my comment. You will say "you have no right to stop people from getting married"
So, I guess that means we should let people marry cousins and closely related family members. People can marry non humans….Dogs, cats, a tree, a car. Anything goes!
You may say "those examples are ridiculous"
Well, they don't disprove the point that we can say who can and cant get married.
So, who has the right to say who can and cant get married? The people do.
You are not a christian. Well, acctually you are, you are exactly the kind of christian Satan wants. By name only, and not by deed or thought. You do not lead by example like Christ taught. You can tolerate sins that you have no right stop, but you dont have to accept or approve of them.I could list a whole bunch of things as to why homosexuality hurts others and society but you will dismiss them as merely "my opinion"
You subscribe to moral relativism. Possibly one of satans greatest weapons.
Im not going to believe something because someone tells me to. I believe there is ONE true god who by some means created humans and all life (Because evolution is still a possibility even through god) who forgives sins, which are any bad thing you do, if you ask and really know what you did was wrong.
Generally, if smething hurts someone else, its bad or wrong. Who is getting married hurting? Homosexual couples probably lead the adoption rate.
People always make these huge deals about Homosexual marriage, when, also, there are other problems just as big, but what's begin done about them? Murder, Abortion ect. Theres no laws trying to be passed. I think these are a little bigger than someone getting married. Murderers serve less than life sentences usually. And I know you oppose killing the unborn.
By giving a domestic partnership, you agree that they get all the same rights, so why call it something different.?
And I keep drilling what you said into your head because your views on Christianity are obviously deeply flawed.
You sound like a cafeteria christian to me. Gods laws are unchanging.
obviously you dont get the point. So what if homosexuality has been around for forever. Murder has been around forever, does that make it ok too?
Exactly THEY don't get that "MARRIAGE" is sacred to us. Prop 8 is about protecting what everyone deep down in the souls knows is right and natural, but the loud mouth homosexuals have bullyed society into accepting their way of life. Prop 8 has NOTHING to do with saying 2 homosexuals cant make a life commitment to eachother.
That is STILL not the point. It was never the point. If your not going to stay not he main topic your obviously avoiding the questionary statement.
Same sex relations have been around for basically ever. It was unheard of to marry one of the same sex back then in fear of dishonoring ones parents. Now, its not a big problem anymore.
seriously though. what if someone's not christian. They wont understand why its such a problem of marrying ones own gender.
Bzzt, wrong. You said yourself that discrimination is a sin. And God and jesus both discriminate. Therefore according to you, they are immoral.
Which if you think God is immoral, goes against one of the core beliefs, that God is all knowing and all good.
You lose.
That does not make them immoral. It makes one immoral who does something the higher entities dont agree with. theyu set the standard of morality, and you follow it. you can, of course follow different moral standards of your own.
but that wasn't my point ANYWAY. You totally ignored the main potion of what I said to prove you wrong in order to TRY to be right.
And heres another news flash. The people who accuse us and YOU of discrimination….are infact discriminating according to you. You are discriminating against my views and are trying to push YOUR viewpoint on me. You have been infected, whether you know it or not, with the ideology of "Moral Relativism"
There is a huge difference between tolerance and acceptance. Jesus taught tolerance. They want acceptance.
Go onto google video and look for…
"Greg Koukl – Moral Relativism"
Do you even know the true definition of discrimination? No, you don't. All you know is what the other side WANTS you to know what it means. News flash, God and Jesus discriminate all the time. God discriminates against those who sin. On a daily basis and the ultimate discrimination,no entry into heaven.
Saying something is a sin is in itself discrimination. Its saying, what you are doing is wrong and you should not do it. So, I guess that makes CHRIST and GOD immoral. According to you.
Same sex relations have been around for basically ever. It was unheard of to marry one of the same sex back then in fear of dishonoring ones parents. Now, its not a big problem anymore.
seriously though. what if someone's not christian. They wont understand why its such a problem of marrying ones own gender, this is simply a christian-chauvinist movement. Yes, I am christian, but i think discrimination is a sin.
Flawed logic. You need time context. 60 years ago, nobody got "civilly joined". Almost everyone was some religion that believed in same sex marriage only. And that court case was about interracial marriage, not gay marriage.
Your example is flawed.
Crap, I posted under the wrong username.
I was hoping you would tolerate the fact that I had a differing opinion from you instead of inapplicable namecalling.
There are no rights being taken away from you. Same sex weddings take place all the time. Same sex couples can also enter into any legal arrangements they wish.
What same sex couples want is to force those of us who do not agree, into accepting their lifestyle – by force and by law.
Now who's forcing their morality on others? It is the homosexual community.
The constitution gives me the right to my marriage benefits. I am voting my conscience. Please be tolerant of me.
Well I think it's pretty American to have an opinion, and mine just happens not to match up with yours. Nothing hypocritical about it.
I agree we should treat each other with dignity.
However, I don't want my tax dollars to go to your marriage benefits if I don't morally agree with your marriage.
I can still love you as a person and not agree with what you are doing. Please understand, our problem is not with the people.
Did you even bother to watch this?
