  1. There needs to be a smart path to citizenship and it has to be cheap and inviting. We need the people. Make them take a civics class. Learn some English. Get a work sponsor. In some cases give them an identity. Make them pledge. Amnesty in 86 would have worked if it had been done without servicing the legal industry.

  4. If US would turn them away then Mexico would begin to turn them away at their border. Mexican government does not care because the US government will let them in. Mexico considers themselves a passthrough and stands aside. If US government officials want to permit this it should come OUT of their salaries NOT our tax dollars. Many companies also love it as they can pay extremely low wages under the table to these illegals. Construction, roofing, seasonal farming (vegetable, fruit picking) comes to mind. This country already has too many in poverty without homes or basic medicine. We need to take care of US citizens and stop taking from them for outsiders.
