Its not as simple as are you a part of a Church and a member of a home fellowship group unfortunately. I am also experiencing this feeling of being stuck. It's deeper. It's about digging into the scriptures and prayer and rekindling a fire. You can not become dependent on home fellowship groups however helpful they are. It's OK not to have the answer. You need to step away and really pray and think about what you are saying.
Wonderful
I am surprised that you are not a runner. You have post many photos of your running trails.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO MY GOD BLESS YOU
We can do nothing on our own. Ask for it my man. Stay in His word and ask whatever you wish.
We overcome spiritual apathy by shifting focus from our needs to those of others, demonstrated through love. For example, in Matthew 16:24-26 (NASB), we read…
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me. [25] For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. [26] For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?”
Shifting focus away from ourselves means we do not give time for apathy to develop.
How do we reconcile the "do first and be after" idea with the teaching of Scripture, which emphasizes making the tree good first and then its fruit will follow?
This message was extremely timely and impactfully significant… Thank you!✝
This is amazing I am going through the exact same thing as this guy, and been asking around for how to solve it. It was almost spooky, because he said the same things ive been asking. I've even been thinking lately "how come these cold case christianity guys seem to get it", and here you are, answering my question. Thanks for this guys!!
I'm currently in a spiritual dry spell, so this is a relevant topic for me. Thanks!
Amen, I thought this was an old upload until I seen that it was posted today! I needed this, God bless 🫡
"self-focused". That kind of hits the nail on the head. I tend to focus way too much on myself. One of my problems are health issues, so I'm not involved with any church or Christian group.
Keep me in prayer. Thanks.
A few things that help me stay in the Spirit:
– Regular Bible Studies
– Reading a little scripture, every day.
– Keeping yourself as healthy as possible.
Mood, motivation, and action all drop-off
when we're not healthy. Everyone's different,
but doing what we can to exercise and eat
right is huge when it comes to mental
well-being and motivation to do the right
things.
– Not watching much TV and limiting your
internet use.
– Keeping your eyes, and ears, open to what
God is telling/showing you.
– Communing with God, daily.
Thanks Mr Wallace–well said. Maybe you should write books, lol. Just kidding. I have all your books and have shared ithem around to share these blessings. Thank you for listening carefully and giving of yourself.
Oh, did I need to hear this today! Ty Lord
Love your channel and your approach to truth in how it relates to the testimonies within the Bible.
