When they state that they don’t require any evidence for their faith, Mary Jo Sharp explains that there are 2 presumptions individuals make. The first assumption is that faith doesn’t include reasoning, in spite of the words of Peter and the actions of Paul and Jesus. The 2nd presumption is that our faith will never be shaken, when in Scripture and in our own lives faith-shaking experiences are rather common.
