Mr. Sowell I heard your interview in the hoover institute where you expose that young people coming from underprivileged communities have a hard time making the grade at ivi leagues schools. If these students had the preparation that the children that attend schools such as Philip Exeter and other schools of that caliber, if they had the teachers with the expertise and education that teach at these high end schools, I guaranteed you they would have no problems at harvard. Education starts at kindergarten and unfortunately poor communities receive the vestiges, the scraps of the educational budget of the United state, and the least qualified personnel. Speaking as a teacher who had to personally buy the copy paper for assignments, glue and crayons for my class. The mediocrity in the average american public school is great. Education begins in kindergarten not when the children get to Harvard, by then it is too late!!!

Opposition to slavery is a Western ideal, which Western people forced on the rest of the world. Basically, this was cultural imperialism, a big no-no if you're a leftist. In my comments I write "Blacks" in double quotes because very few people are even close to black, and "White" people are not even close to white, etc. Also, there are "Blacks" elsewhere than USA and from other places than Africa: the Caribbeans, for example. False reports of "an ancient "Black" woman found in UK"…
