I Love America Too Much to Stay Silent
She came to America, the land of chance, education, and flexibility. When Black Lives Matter demonstrations declared America guilty of systemic bigotry and oppression, she knew she had to defend her adoptive nation.

When I got out of bed the early morning of May 31, 2020 after a sleepless night, I understood I needed to do something..
I didn’t know what. Or what I would state..
I saw the demonstrations and the riots. I had actually heard all the allegations about bigotry, racial injustice, and police cruelty. I was horrified by what happened to Mr. George Floyd. But I was likewise horrified about what was occurring to my adopted country, my precious America..
And I simply couldn’t take it any longer. I couldn’t keep it inside..
So I went to among these protests and I did the most American thing I could consider: I told the protesters exactly what I thought..
I confess– I wasn’t really diplomatic..
Perhaps that’s why my remarks went viral. You can find them easily on YouTube..
Many individuals admired me for what I said. Lots of hated me. I don’t care in either case. I didn’t do this for me. I did it for America, the best country in the world.
And I know what I’m speaking about..
I was born in Cameroon, a country in West Africa. When I hear people talk about corruption and civil rights abuses here in the United States, I shake my head.
I pertained to the United States for what I could never have in my native land: flexibility and joy, the chance to get a good education, to earn an excellent living, to develop a great life for myself. Which’s precisely what I’ve done. That’s what America has actually allowed me to do. And for that, I am eternally grateful..
Considering that concerning the United States, I have actually trained in nursing and worked as a checking out nurse assistant. Recently, I received my master’s in health care administration, and I am now working as a healthcare executive.
My profession aspiration is to close the gap in health care results and create brand-new and much better methods to guarantee that under-served populations get the health care services they require. I also work as a reservist in the United States Air Force. And yes, I look forward to getting married and starting a family.
My life is grounded in a simple fact: There’s no much better place to live for anybody, of any race, than America. And everybody outside of America understands it. That’s why they line up, like I did, at United States embassies all over the world, expecting a possibility to come here to work and live. This is truly the land of chance..
Don’t go around trashing it. I don’t care where you originate from. Or what your problem is. Or what your skin color is. I’m not having it..
And that brings me back to May 31st and that park in Washington, DC.
Mr. Floyd should not have passed away as he did. However make no mistakes: Black Lives Matter and their allies are utilizing George Floyd’s death to split Americans apart at the very moment we ought to be coming together. They stand out at the heart of this country– twisting the knife of white regret with one hand, and black animosity with the other..
These protests are not about empowering black people. They have to do with disempowering black individuals..
All that remains is hopelessness, anger, and pity since when the fires stop burning. That’s not empowerment. That’s oppression.
Look at the innocent victims– the organization owners, many of them black, who have actually lost their life’s work to robbery and arson. What are they supposed to do now? Who cleans up the graffiti and the shattered glass?
She came to America, the land of chance, liberty, and education. When Black Lives Matter demonstrations stated America guilty of systemic racism and oppression, she understood she had to defend her adoptive country.
I did it for America, the biggest nation in the world.
My life is grounded in an easy reality: There’s no much better location to live for anyone, of any race, than America. And everyone exterior of America understands it.
