Is This More like Dining with Sinners or Attending an LGBTQ+ “Wedding”?
Would attending “Pride Month Happy Hour” at work be more like dining with sinners (something I should do) or attending a same-sex wedding (something I would not do)? Greg and Amy answer.

I have a friend that went as a ministry opportunity. It depends on the situation. He invited the guy to lunch and started a friendship, while talking to him respectfully about Biblical truth. While other church community members were outside the event with You’re going to hell signs etc
It’s never good to participate or celebrate in anyone’s self deception or destruction.
I have no problems whatsoever with Greg Koukl's response to the question posed. I do have problems with the response of the female presenter. She comes across as wishy washy and wanting to please men rather than God! My 2 cents!
I like what Greg has said in the past, too: Are you going to use your power as my employer, to force me to violate my conscience and accept your controversial and divisive political position? (paraphrased)
I don’t think we should use the reasoning that “I should be true to my true self” as why I will not attend a gay event; if it shouldn’t be used as a reason for LGBTV+ (sp), we as Christians shouldn’t use it either.
That would appear as if truth is subjective.
