Our entire election system was produced for in-person ballot. We do not have the administrative facilities to guarantee a clean election, and absentee tallies are cast outside the guidance of election authorities and outside the presence of election observers.
The absentee tally system introduces significant blind spots in the chain of custody. It remains in these blind areas where abuses typically occur.

Hans von Spakovsky is an authority on a big range of concerns– consisting of civil liberties, civil justice, the First Amendment, immigration, the guideline of law and government reform– as a senior legal fellow in The Heritage Foundation’s Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies.
