Dr. Hitchcock, Once the rapture takes place and the antichrist appears on the scene do you see any hints or evidence of any kind in Scripture that he will attempt to destroy all christian literature (massive book burnings in public places for example) along with taking down all christian themed ministry websites, and destroying physical church buildings, seminaries etc. It would make sense that since he is attempting to set himself up as God that he would want to deny people access to all of these resources.
You mentioned Joel Richardson. I follow him on YouTube also and enjoy his teaching. He does not believe in a pre-Tribulation Rapture. He thinks that the church will go through the entire Tribulation and then experience a kind of yo-yo Rapture – we go up at the end and come right back down. What is your position on the Rapture of the Church?
Perhaps, Mark, you can answer me. I've posed this question to others but received no response. We understand that the rapture will happen suddenly, whilst the world goes on about its business as usual. Since things are not as usual, how can we view the imminency of the rapture under these circumstances?
