In today’s video, we’re responding to a talking Bible and Quran. Isn’t the Internet awesome? Actually, we’re responding to the claim that Jesus cannot be God because He refers to God as “My God.”

Not the best explanation of Yeshua (Jesus) being God (Theos) and having a God. The Father called the Son "God" in Hebrews 1:6-9. One of the meanings of God in the Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew is "Of that which is the ruling interest or primary concern of one's life, that upon which one places the highest premium or value, as the stomach or appetite (Philippians 3:19)
That completely matches how the Father and the Son could refer to each other as "God." It matches the Scriptures on how the Father and the Son refer to each other.

jesus is not God, jesus is son of God, mary is not mother of God, mary is mother of son of God, eve is mother of all the living, and God is Maker of all of them, God was, before He let there be light, God was before He made mary in the womb of her mother, God was before He made eve from adams rib, God was, already existing before this creation

Hebrews 1:8-9, "But to the Son He says: 'Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You'".

They – the Father and the Son – refer to each other as God.

All of these arguments from this lady are of poor quality because she refuses to seriously consider the arguments she is attacking, resulting in straw man fallacies and condescension that is off-putting to anyone not already predisposed to her point of view. I think it’s a sign of a lack of critical thinking, something everyone should practice.

Right Jesus can’t be Almighty God but is divine deity Isaiah called him mighty god he had prehuman existence the nature of The Almighty which is Spirit. Unfortunately your reasoning on the scriptures you
Tried to prove Jesus is Jehovah is faulty go back to the Bible not to the pagan teaching of the Trinity.

what prophet never wrote a word? what messiah was never anointed? God is called father (and spouse) throughout the tanak. to claim that jezus was born of a virgin is pagan. it’s all over greco-roman mythology, gods mating with human women. in fact, it’s in the tanak, as well. God sent his sons (sons?!?) to hell for it. and since God is father to us all, it was his daughter! and, if father and son are one, it was his mother, as well.

your story doesn’t add up. we are the Elohim.

They are asking the wrong question, they should be asking: does Jesus have a "father"? and the answer is of course yes, otherwise who would have he prayed to? God obviously saw it fitting to have a son to work along with him when all creation started and to be his "word" or representative, therefore Jesus was a God. Jesus also said in one scripture that "he was granted to have life within himself"; so who granted it? In another scripture he (Jesus) rebuked a person who called him "good teacher" saying "Why do you call me good? only the father is good" exemplifying his loyal love and respect for his father.

The Trinity is said to be a mystery beyond human reasoning, impossible for us to understand or explain. It is the biggest obstacle to becoming a Christian and knowing God, is understanding the Trinity. Yet, the Trinity is simple and very easy to understand, if you know one thing.

Jesus said; “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him who sent me. 17 If anyone desires to do His will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or I speak of my own originality. 18 Whoever speaks of his own originality is seeking his own glory; . . .” (John 7:16-18)

How can it not be from Jesus, if he is part of a Trinity?

Jesus’ authority to forgive sins was given to him by God.

“However, in order for you to know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins—” then he said to the paralytic: “Get up, pick up your stretcher, and go to your home.” And he got up and went to his home. When the crowds saw this, they were struck with fear, and they glorified God, who gave such authority to men.” (Matthew 9:6-8)

Did Jesus Deny Being God in Mark 10:18? Yes, he did.

““Why do you call me good? Nobody is good except one, God.” (Mark 10:18)

Jesus was referring to what the OT stated, “For you, O Jehovah, are good . . .” (Psalm 86:5)

Jesus states that his Father is his God, Jesus worships his Father as God.

“Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’”” (John 20:17)

You don’t worship someone you are equal to, nor do you worship yourself. If this was true, then why does the Father never worship or pray to Jesus?

The Father has authority over Jesus just as a husband has authority over his wife.

“But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God.” (1 Corinthians 11:3)

If you have a head or boss, you are not equal to them. How does this work with Jesus?

Jesus will subject himself to his Father.

“But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.” (1 Corinthians 15:28)

If you subject yourself to someone’s authority, you are not equal in authority to them. How can two members of the Trinity have different levels of authority, while the third member, the Holy Spirit seems to have none and is never even pictured as having a body?

Can Jesus be both God and the mediatory between God and men?

“. . .For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all—. . .” (1 Timothy 2:5, 6)

“. . .Now there is no mediator when just one person is involved, but God is only one.” (Galatians 3:20)

Why did Paul write both verses? Why did he not explain it in light of the Trinity?

These are very complex questions with a very simple answer that is so obvious once you know it. This answer is staring you in the face it is so simple. Just think about it, what did a Jew have to accept and believe to become a Christian? It was only one thing.

“Peter said to them: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins,. . .” (Acts 2:38) “. . .God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you executed on a stake.”” (Acts 2:36)

All a Jew had to do was accept Jesus as the promised messiah. The word ‘messiah’ means anointed, as in anointed to become king. The Jews just had to accept Jesus as the king in the kingdom promised by God. They did not have to learn about or believe in the Trinity. Which is why Jesus never gave a sermon on the Trinity, why he never even mentioned it or explained it. No one in the Bible ever does. The Trinity is an impossible mystery until you unlock the secret of it, that makes it very easy to understand, the Trinity is a lie. It is a false doctrine. That is why it is not in the Bible. Why would the Bible explain something that doesn’t exist?

Once you understand this simple solution to the mystery of the Trinity, it is like the scales falling from Paul’s eyes after he accepted Jesus as the promised messiah. With this understanding, it makes understanding God and scripture so much clearer and easier. Suddenly it is like you can see for the first time and everything makes sense when unsolvable mysteries beyond human understanding suddenly pop like a soap bubble and you wonder why you didn’t see it sooner.

Another reason Jesus refers to the father as "my God" is because the bible says God is the God of all flesh.

    Jeremiah 32:27 KJV

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Every time lily jay makes a video she debunks islam, every verse she quotes from the bible has "the father" in it, and allah is a father to no one in any sense, we do not worship the same God, mohamed is a false prophet with no ties to judaism or christianity.

Jesus has dual in nature. Human nature and Divine nature.

Jesus is the biological Son of God in the Spirit of Holiness and Righteousness, because Jesus was born through the Holy Spirit of God the Father Most High (Luke 1 :35 & Matthew 1 :20). And Jesus is also the Son of Man, because Jesus was born through human being. This is why Jesus said to His disciples, You call Me Teacher and Lord, and rightly so, for that is what I Am (John 13 :13).

So in His human nature. Jesus could be a Servant, a Prophet, a Messenger, a Messiah, a Rabbi, a Master, a Friend or a Teacher. Because the Word (logos) that became Flesh and dwelt among us. This is why Jesus needs to pray, to eat, to drink, to sleep and to go to the toilet etc.

But in His Divine nature. Jesus is Lord. So know that the Lord is God (Psalms 100 :3). Lord God Almighty (Isaiah 44 :6). The Lord is the great God (Psalms 95:3). And Lord is the true God (Jeremiah 10 :10). The Lord is His memorable name (Hosea 12 :5 & Jeremiah 10:16).

It doesn't matter if Jesus is God. It only matter that you believe God raised him from the dead and justifies you from your sin. Jesus was a man appointed by God to be the blood atonement for jews and gentiles alike.
Stop getting hung up on Jesus being God or not, it's not pertinent to one's salvation.

Probably. The OT talks a lot about the council of Gods and the "high God" Jesus Says he's God and he also Says his Father is his God. So both of them are Gods. Jesus Does say he's one with his Father like He and his Apostles are One.

You've seen the Shroud of Turin, dates back to the 1st century, created imprinted by a radiance of light otherwise impossible in that time.

    Hebrews 1:3
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

    2 Corinthians 4:4
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
