Pandemic Ethics: Human Flourishing During a Crisis
#Pandemic #Coronavirus In the next couple of weeks, as the covid-19 pandemic maybe reaches its zenith, Americans will have the chance to decide once again what sort of society we mean to be. What moral concepts should guide our decisions if we must allocate or prioritize care? What moral concepts validate– and limit– federal government limitations on public gatherings and other activities? How do religious liberty and facility problems converge with public policy combating the coronavirus? And how should we think of securing both human lives and human thriving? We gathered a group of academic professionals on medicine, principles, and human growing, to answer these questions and hear their take on such a critical issue.
