Plot in Biblical Narrative
An important part of reading biblical narratives is learning how to understand the nature of “the plot,” how stories are arranged into a pattern of conflict and resolution. In this video we’ll see how ignoring the sequence of the plot can lead to a distorted interpretation of biblical stories. We’ll also explore how grasping the multi-layered nature of the narrative can help you see the unified story that leads to Jesus.

How can we tell which stories are actual history or just epic narratives?
Thank you
Please put these in actual comic books! I would get it
This was made 7 years ago?, thats crazy
The captions are about the best I've ever seen but I'm still catching mistakes, like near the end of this video it says "law" while the word actually spoken is "plot".
That was AMAZINGGGGG Praise be to God Almighty
👏👏👏
Not trying to sound like an atheist but….how does these events lead to Jesus?? 🤔🤔
That’s why it’s better to read at least a couple of verses above and below the main verse that we are trying to understand, or if possible we can read the whole chapter or even the previous one for context . Having context on the verses we read can help us understand these better than just the verses themselves
@JeffFrederick-ty5ip I can’t find Paul Germans original post to that NBC video about Oklahoma to help answer your question. Not sure what my response to his comment was to catch one from you asking what my point is.
Are you possibly projecting problems at me from that NBC video comment section and in typical atheistic progressive/liberal democrat fashion @danielleS257?
I’m not sure I have a problem with what the superintendent of Oklahoma schools is doing, at all.
“@jaredmarcelli2919 so your problem is that the Superintendent isn’t calling the Bible a History book, not that he wants “the Act (which is the requirement to use the Bible) to more accurately teach American history? 🤨”
Maybe you’ll accurately quote me on the point of your confusion and I can more appropriately help. It seems to me that you’ve misunderstood me, the constitution, and the Bible. One party in our two party system encourages your ignorance more than the other and purposely instills it through our public education system too.
help us Lord to understand Your word and to always keep context in mind!

God uses people with deep flaws to perform his counsel. When you understand how much Gideon was timid and couldn't trust God, you'd also see why God had to probably reduce the army to 300. When victory finally comes,it was meant to leave a clear message to Gideon about the reliability of God
I love these videos, greetings from a young Colombian who begins his journey of conversion 🫡🙏🏾❤🔥

Your technique for teaching the Bible is fantastic, and you've fanned the glowing coals in my heart into a roaring fire, making me eager to dive deeper into the Bible and really start learning. The graphics also bear mentioning as they are spectacular, as many have noted. The very last bit of animation in this video of the stone rolling away from the mouth of the cave made me cry happy tears. Thank you for all of this.
Loved the artwork along with the teaching here👌🏿
