25:32 When Romans 14:12 says that “each one of us will give an account of himself to God,” does that mean something will be based on our good works?

Thanks for this, guys 😊🙏
Marriage is God ordained. Even in secret God will see. But the Bible emphasises the importance of witnesses. And it ALSO emphasises the importance of following the law of the land, so to be legally married under the law would be the way to go. I also worry about one taking advantage of the other such as in a case of divorce.
Would God recognise it? Possibly, but it doesn't mean it's the right way to do it…
Jesus lives! ♥️ and is Yahweh God 🙏🏻 Christ ✝️ and King 👑
Based on this, are you saying that a biblical marriage would be vows in public (ceremony) before God and that the legal contract (marriage license) is not necessary?
One flesh being sanctified.
