This was two years ago! And the only thing that has changed is that it’s gotten much much worse!
$2600 a month will only rent you a studio or one bedroom apartment in California. Maybe a one and a half bedroom if you're lucky!

When the money allocated to homeless people in many cities in ca was investigated it show that the system was allocating 60 thousand dollars per person and in a lot of casa their is husband and wife which is shocking and confirms that the government in ca and other states have created a new industry and solved nothing, real analysis moneylaundering
CA thinks that they know what is best for the US since they have the most seats in Congress. They think that their policies work when they have actually failed. And they want to impose it on the rest of the country. HR1 is an example of a CA policy trying be implemented across the country.
Stop using 'decimated' when you mean 'obliterated'. Decimated means to reduce in number by 10%
Not all homeless are druggies or mentally deranged. Many are unemployed, divorced, broke.
I grew up in Cali. I tell people all the time it's a great place to be FROM … Sad, but SO GLAD, to not be there anymore! The great Leftist experiment: FAILED.

Term Limits caused a lot of the goofy laws because in their Second Term, Congress Critters sell their votes and ability to pass laws to the highest bidder.
This is going to create a ton of GrabbBuggers (people who don’t mind living with crime because they’ll have TINY rent rates, no neighbors in a big city and all as long as they have a really strong metal storm door with a stronger bolt deadlock.

I have a friend (former home teacher) who was an amazing army officer that ended up homeless in LA. The system there failed him and his family. It’s HORRIBLE!!!

How sad! I grew up in California and I left several years ago because I saw it slowly being turned into one giant homeless encampment. Ever go by Angel Stadium lately along the Santa Ana River? It’s not getting any better, it’s only gonna get worse and worse and worse.

There seems to be a fundamental lack of understanding of economics, money management, and program accountability. These are business basics that most of the liberals don't care about in their rush to "fix" any situation they are facing. The laws of economics are just as real as the laws of physics, but ideas like the .COM "New Economy" in the late 1990s show how uneducated people are about economics and money management. Add in questionable groups that pretend to care about specific groups of people and you have a situation ready for wasted money at best, or fraud and embezzlement in extreme cases. "Feel Good" economic theory does not work!!
