The "reality" that there is no non-physical reality is a non-physical reality. Correct?
Our modern education system at work again.
What this little tart needs to understand is that facts don’t care about her feelings, and that we don’t own the truth, the truth owns us.
Truth (about anything, “religious” or not) is discovered, not invented, and it’s up to her to evaluate any truth claims for herself.
The only thing preventing anyone from doing this is their own laziness/indifference, etc.
Reminds me of the old adage, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink."
The issue is not that your arguments are flawed or unconvincing. It’s that you have a preconceived conclusion in mind when making those arguments, and if anyone disagrees with you, they’re
– Going to Hell
– Questioning God
– Wicked and foolish
– Just doing it to sin
– Ignoring the “obvious” signs
– Don’t understand the Bible, Christian doctrine, or your particular interpretation of Christian doctrine
Effectively, you restrict freedom of thought with a high penalty. It then becomes very difficult for people to recognize the inconsistencies because they don’t want to look for them.
"A listener accuses Stand to Reason of using apologetics to prevent people from evaluating Christianity."
Good grief, that's all STR does is "evaluate Christianity"! I cannot take a comment like this seriously. They can't have engaged with this program for any length of time.
BTW Christianity is true.
Jesus lives! ♥️ and is Yahweh God 🙏🏻 Christ ✝️ and King 👑
Isn't it a very small cross section of society that believes in these distortions and if so why so much time devoted to these topics when they don't listen to this show anyway?
“The system” is
Reality —> Premises —> Logic —> Conclusion
If the premises reflect reality and the logic is solid, then the conclusion is truth. Saying you have not arrived at the truth is like standing in front of a ‘Welcome to Philadelphia’ sign and saying, “Where am I?”
Some people are just allergic to reason, logic and truth. Their emotions get so offended by the notion of absolute truth. It's a biblical level of delusion.
