Saving History: The Case for Clay Pots | 5-Minute Videos | PragerU
There’s no guarantee future historians will tell the truth about America. In PragerU’s 2025 commencement address, @glennbeck warns that preserving U.S. history is everyone’s responsibility. Without individual efforts to safeguard the past—our own “clay pots”—historical truth may disappear forever in a fog of political correctness and revisionism.

This is a great video. However, beware as prageru is a huge rewriter of history. It often plays down the fact that the USA were historically speaking, sovereign nations in a continually voluntary agreement. It plays down the fact that legally speaking, they are sovereign nations protected from the federal government levying War to keep them from seceding (like it did 150 years ago). It plays down the fact that, according to political science that States acting as sovereign nations is actually more liberating for individual citizens.
My husband is a retired librarian, (after serving in the Army,) who specialized in US Government Documents, i.e. government publications. When he had to address a group or class about how to access and use the documents, he always stressed the fact that public access to such things was necessary to preserve our freedom. He carefully managed a collection at LSU that contained a great many very old and historic publications. But the government eventually discovered the internet, and more and more docs became online-only. When considered superseded or no longer relevant, many of those publications now disappear, never to be seen or used again. Fortunately, a few university libraries, such as the University of North Texas, are preserving all online documents as they appear, so that they will not be lost.
there's no way this got 350k views and only 118 comments lol
Glenn spent a lot of time trying to change our historical narrative to meet his own vision to enrich himself. I’ll never trust him.
It's about time Glenn did one!!
Guys, this one book I stumbled upon really isn’t one of those recycled secret society books. Secrets of The First Order feels dangerous. It makes you wonder how it even got published. What hit me hardest wasn’t just what I learned, it was how much I already suspected but ignored. This book didn’t teach me something new. It made me face what I already knew deep down but never admitted.
Guys, honestly reading this book Secrets of The First Order felt like snapping out of a trance I didn’t even know I was in. For years I bought into the official narratives. History, media, government. I thought I had it figured out. Then this book flipped everything. It’s not just information, it’s a challenge. If you trust everything you’re told, this isn’t for you. But if some part of you knows there’s more going on than we’re allowed to see, this will shake you.
Yo guys, I thought that this book Secrets of The First Order would be just another book talking about conspiracies. I wasn’t expecting much. But it completely shook me. It didn’t just suggest hidden truths, it tore everything wide open. Every page felt like a cold splash of water to the face. If you’ve ever felt like something is deeply off in the world but couldn’t explain it, this book connects all of it.

Hear this guys, I found this book Secrets of The First Order and I couldn’t stop reading. I finished it in one sitting because it pulled something out of me I hadn’t felt in a long time. It gave a voice to a part of me that always knew something was off with the stories we’ve been told. This book isn’t here to make you comfortable. It rips the bandages off. If you’re looking for something safe, this isn’t it. But if you’re ready to face what’s behind the curtain, this book doesn’t hold back.

The case of the Dead Sea Scrolls is certainly interesting and worth of serious study, but alot of people have applied their own ideas to it for them to mean whatever they want them to mean. If we found a manuscript of The Odyssey, that was older than any previously found, would that prove that Greek gods and goddesses were real?
Glenn Beck is a liar
We have a similar thing in Australia as The 1619 Project with a book called Dark Emu trying to rewrite Australian history being taught in schools & it's author given an indigenous academic role at a major Australian university even though he's less native than your Senator Elizabeth 'Pocahontas' Warren. 😡
I've made the observation that after say a tornado or hurricane, there can be old photo albums found that contain pictures. Today with the digital formats, they are one a single disk drive and if that drive gets damaged, 100s of thousands of photos can be lost…the funny thing is no one will know.
In Hawaii there is a project to digitally capture all of these old newspapers written in Hawaiian. A few years ago I asked at a conference and I was told there was <1TB done but they had so much more to go and I brought up, how many digital copies have they made because if they only have one and the drive goes out, it's gone. They really didn't have an answer for me.
That’s one thing I hate about the current administration so much, I know historically politicians aren’t exactly known for being honest, but the Trump administration lies on a level so far beyond what we’ve seen in the past. They are actively working to rewrite history as quickly as possible Before 2029.
Wow. Imagine if we all journaled about the years from 2018 to 2025. What if millions of us simply wrote down the truth about the gaslighting we faced everyday over covid and the lockdowns. We should keep a record of what the legacy media is SAYING and what the actual truth is about everything from the economy to Trump to women's sports. These records need to be kept even if we never expect them to be made public. They need to be there for our children and our children's children…
Well said
The worst of fake history is Howard Zinn. There is quote after quote after quote in his book without any references whatsoever
I had the pleasure of studying under Rabbi Lawrence H. Schiffman, the first Jew ever allowed to study the Qumran scrolls — he revolutionized our understanding of who the Qumran Community had been. Till then, they'd only allowed Catholics, Protestants & Atheists to examine them and (surprise, surprise) they assumed they were the work of an early Christian monastic society. Among other things, his research revealed that all the elements people had previously used to dismiss the Gospel of John as a later "Greek" text were clearly present in the DSS — written centuries before people claimed John had been written.
Also, fun fact for famous-Mormon, Glenn Beck — one of the Qumran scrolls is known as the "Copper Scroll" because it is literally a thin sheet of copper with the text scratched/carved into it. But the seeming-impracticality of using thin sheets of precious metal to preserve texts was often used to dismiss the Mormon claims that the Book of Mormon was originally written on thin sheets of precious metal.
The only reason people watch this crap is cuz they buy the adspace and people are force to watch this coch bros propaganda
