Clan Grant fought for freedom alongside William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Abraham Lincoln. And they probably did all of this while they were drunk.
The Grants should be mentioned more often.
One of the only times prageru did something right
10/10
I'm not American and I know well enough about him to say that that he was what could be described as a true Caesarian, military commander, political figurehead and most of a reformer who was loved by the people and the men under his command, that sad part about it that his legacy was tarnished and spat on by the Southern liberalists and democrats, and just like his former commander and chief mr. Lincoln, they both walked down the same path as pariahs and martyrs like Caesar, Valerian, Gallienus, Aurelion,
Stilicho, Aetius, Majorian, jFK & Robert FK
Was he really that amazing?
"If I thought this war was to abolish slavery, I would resign my commission and offer my sword to the other side."
-US Grant (a slaveholder until the 13th amendment was ratified)
has to be the best 5 minutes on youtube
General 🇺🇲 Grant💙
A GREAT AMERICAN
Matt mole?
Ultra rare PragerU W
Looks like Julia had Ulysses make the right decision, but she had it done for the wrong reason.
And it turns out it was Ulysses's second term that was the first to be voted for by any woman (in this case, Susan Brownell Anthony), but because it was not allowed, she was arrested and fined $100, but she never paid the fine because she found it unfair. — National Geographic
Does the fact that Mr. Dent owned slaves really explain him being against his daughter marrying a soldier, especially one that fought against slavery for then-President Lincoln?!
Learned more about Grant in six minutes than in any one year in school.
27 th of april
that's my birthday and grant's birthday date 😮
I just put Coke zero in my eyes 👀 …thinking it was water 💧 not kidding …don't do it …if you do …wash your eyes 👀 with water 💧 Coke makes you feel like your having panic attack …mistaken experiment over 😂
If pragerU was an actual university I would be pleased to attend. I love learn from them. So sad that I attend public schools and all tried to brainwash me.
Grant was the best President to serve between Lincoln & TR
I HATE A.Johnson.
One of our greatest generals.
Our third greatest president.
This guy was one of the greatest American presidents of all time but I bet most young adults have no idea who he was . They probably don’t even know he’s on the $50 bill. It’s so sad that people don’t care about history anymore
His drinking problem did not start after being separated from Julia, it actually started from adolescence. It kicked into overdrive as his life became more and more doomer.
This is a man with Principals; they are rare, but my god, they are magnificent. The USA hasn't had a man with principles for president in the last 100 years. They are all business, transactional presidents; this guy is my goal; read how he graciously accepted Lee's surrender.
Ulessy grant on the $50 dollar bill 💵 and Aberham Lincoln on the $5 dollar bill 💵 great presidents
I really enjoy these videos thank you for putting these wonderful informative vehicles together.
From this dude to Drumpf. How far the mighty have fallen.
The powers they he wanted everyone to love Lee more than Grant.
Let us not for get general Sheman and General Sheridan. Who literally broke the back of the confederacy in Atlanta.
Get this precious white man's Statue back up!
During the Civil War, the Union had all the advantages but was plagued by many of the same problems that made the British effort in the Crimean War so long and bloody, namely incompetent commanders who got their posts through politics. And in the Crimea, the British had all the advantages.
4:25 The 15th amendment guaranteed the right to vote to all MEN, not to all citizens. Women would not get the vote until much later.
PragerU should be mandatory curriculum for all public schools.
Odd, b c the man was a drunk
This is one of the only good pragerU videos
History deems him one of the worst Presidents in US history………..but you have to consider who was writing the history in the 1800s! Most likely a bunch of guys sympathetic to the KKK and no so much towards African Americans and the Natives
Grant smoked himself to death
W alcohol prob too
Great general
Fine author
Keep his name out of your whore mouths.
