There are four basic questions that confront each of us: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? And where am I going when I die? Your eternal destiny will be determined by your “worldview” in addressing these issues. And there are really only two world views: either everything – including you- is the result of some kind of cosmic accident, or this is all the result of a deliberate design by a Designer. This issue could not be more fundamental.

Funny, same with Deuteronomy, first 11 chapters are a distinct unit. In fact I’m only posting this because I’m excited to have just received a new Deuteronomy 1-11 commentary WooHoo!!
Merci 🔥💜🔥
By the way, Kat Kerr, who has claimed to have taken multiple trips to heaven, said that Cain is in heaven.
1:07:20 the reason Cain could marry his sisters without the problem of incest is because the genetics were still mostly pure, incest becomes a sort of serious issue around the time of Moses, which is why God prohibited it then, around that time the Geneticists estimate everyone is being born with about 2000 genetic mutations. Which when you have incest you force your child to bear those mutations, but when you marry other peoples and nations etc, your dominant genes can cancel the 2000 different mutations the other peoples have and vice versa and it helps to keep the genetics more pure, and avoids defects. We know from history those that practiced incest had some very deformed children due to the forcing of bad genes due to lack of variety. Nowadays incest is much more serious with an average of 4000 mutations per person, so doing it now would lead to some serious deformities.
Also for 41:30 where Lamech Kills his son, the Rabbis get this from Jasher and Enoch, where the story adds that Lamech shot an arrow by the command of his son which killed Cain, and it adds this is how God repaid Cain for killing Abel, when Lamach got closer and realized he killed Cain he was so angry he killed his son who was hunting with him too for lying to him. Then thats why he added Cains thing to himself because He killed Cain on accident.
38:00 A reason why Cains descendants are mentioned in Genesis to the 7th generation even though they all die in the Flood is because this reveals that after the 7ths generation, they were no longer human but hybrids, and God wanted to contrast this with the seed of the Woman that goes from Adam to Noah 10 generations. We know that during the Days of Jared Enochs Dad that the Fallen Angels came down and interbred with humans to make these hybrids, and other kinds of hybrids. So Cains descendants are just another confirmation to that, and God showing us that Human genealogy is what God cares to mention and God doesn't include Hybrids in the Genealogy because they don't have Hope or Redemption through Jesus. Hyrbids are an abomination according to the Torah and mixing seeds is prohibited, thats why hybrids are always sterile when they are born because God does not want them to take over, but somehow Satan found a way to corrupt the Genetics until Noah was the only one left "perfect in his generations/genetics"
Hope all is well with the group in Israel, and thank God for all you do, much appreciated
Swift recovery in Jesus' name, Amen.
The long life of the pre-flood people does raise an interesting question about how smart someone could be that live to 900 years old. And would answer a lot of questions about how advanced that civilization was. How smart would Einstein be if he could live that long?
28:01 was Abel, as a righteous man, sacrificed by Cain’s slaying, the way for unrighteous Cain to remain alive? Just wondering… anyone else ever think that Abel’s blood may have been crying out, “I’ve covered him.”
Does anyone know if Chuck shared a study on the Book(s) of Enoch?… whether he was asked about the texts and what he said?
Thank you
Thank you Jesus for Chuck and Ron, and all you do through them!
