The Hall of Evil: Joseph Stalin | 5 Minute Video | PragerU
“One death is a tragedy. A million is a statistic.” That line perfectly captures Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin’s nihilistic worldview. Millions suffered under his rule—through forced labor, purges, and starvation. Paul Kengor reveals the truth about one of the 20th century’s most ruthless individuals.

Unfortunately, Trump is best buddies with PooTin, a successor of Stalin with a similar mindset.
I'm told American folk singer Woody Guthrie did not disapprove of Stalin's heinous acts…
They're all privileged
Dont need anymore privileged Muslims
Sadly, I knew most of this about that monster, Stalin
Shostakovich outsmarted and outlasted Stalin.
He was born in 1879.
With your censorship I will no longer trust your videos. Commie BS like everything else poisoned by the integrated globalists scum of Washington DC. Your a sellout like the trump white Yankee trash.
When showing Germany invading Poland, the map used was of Europe with modern borders, inaccurately reflecting those of the time
Now tell the horrors of Lincoln JFK Carter Bush Biden and the negro.
He was a monster Probably Possessed by the DEVIL
How about President Marcos Sr. ?
But…but…but…that wasn't real Socialism. Derp!
Most people think Hitler was the most evil of men, but Stalin could certainly top him. What made Hitler evil is that he selected those he wanted eliminated, whereas anyone was fair game to Stalin.
Today we have Trump and Putin
Stalin was the perfect Marxist in the sense that nothing else mattered including his own family! He picked a crew of ethnic Georgian gangsters that proved that as Mao Tse Tung put it "Power grows out of the barrell of a gun"! However in pure killing, Mao beat him in nos of murdered as Stalin beat Hitler! Good video!
Ah Communism, the gift that keeps on taking…
For those who don’t think the far left exists please watch this video
I find it astounding that affluent young people actually think that Stalin and Lenin were not that bad and that Commuism hasn't ever been done correctly. However no matter where it was tried, the same result, monsters in power, millions dead, a hierarchy with a handful at the top and millions at the bottom. Death camps, censorship, limited mobility, torture and starvation.
Germany's SS, secret police and concentration camps were directly copied from those in the USSR. Germany's diplomats to Stalin even boasted of it to him. The modern left conveniently forgets this today.
And Today … youtube supports that Evil system: Communism and if You say something against it… youtube censor You
Cartel U.N. supports that Evil system
Evil google supports that 💩💩💩💩
faceKGBook supports that 💩💩💩💩
the DemocRAT Party of United States of America supports those evil Communists and the worst part is …
islam is worse than all Communist Party around The World.
What was the meaning of his real name.?
Why do lefties have such a down on Hitler? Didn't this one do better and Mao and Pol Pot and a lot more?
Interesting fact …Stalin's personal chef was Putin's grandfather.
The British empire queen and empire killed more Indians than this
Yup; Stalin was so evil and corrupt that only the western intelligentsia are goofy enough, even to this day, to think he was o k….
As the video ended, the thumbs-up reduced from 10k to 2.5k (O.22%) in a flash. What does that tell you?
It just boggles my mind that Russia has literally lost millions upon millions of their own people for power and glory. After the cold war they invaded Afghanistan here they are now drying in Ukraine. The last count I read is that they're losing over 1000 soldiers a day. they have lost more soldiers in three years in Ukraine than the entire time they were in Afghanistan.
Don't forget FDR supported Mao unofficially for years and directly beginning in 42
Lucky for the world that he died young but
unbelievably, he still has many admirers in Russia
and elsewhere.
Trotskyism is still alive in Mexico, you just have to fool around and find out. (#FAFO)
People point to the fact that Stalin modernized Russia, but Japan modernized without killing 30 million of its citizens.
Yet still in 2025 son of Stalin – Putin stills rules
Yet Our Colleges and Universities actually hold Communism … Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, Mao … and MANY Others of that type … to be some sort of “Good and Heroic Thing.
The communists (and the Nazis, too) were both new world orders who sought to take over the world.
Now it’s the elitists who are controlling the West who seek to establish their new world order.
In the Mao video you say that he was responsible for more deaths than anyone in history now you're saying it's Stalin. Which is it?.
He died on my birthday. March 5th. That comforts me even though I was born in 1987.
Lenin suffered a severe stroke in 1923, which put him out of commission; his immediate successor was Rykov, who presided for five years; Stalin actually came to power early in 1928.
Everything we know about the 20thCentury attempts at the socialist-experiment has been filtered through the muddied lens of RedScare propaganda & ColdWar lies.
Those revolutions lifted over a billion people out of the poverty caused by imperial capitalism.
Stalin (or Mao or Castro) wasn't an autocrat. That's not how the Communist Party operates. There's too much horizontal democracy within the Party-system. And Stalin sought to step down from his leadership position 4 separate times. The Party voted to keep him at his post (even Trotsky voted to keep Stalin in leadership the first time he tried to step down).
The Soviet prison system, the “GUlags”, when compared to the prisons under the Tsarist system they overthrew AND compared to the punitive prison system in the USA in the 1920s,30s,&40s was more humane & rehabilitative, and actually SAVED lives.
Also, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, nearly every “atrocity” & “failure” of the 20thCentury attempts at the socialist-experiment is a direct result of nonstop starvation-sanctions, embargoes, encirclement, war & constant threat of war, a global anticommunist propaganda campaign, & counterrevolutionary sabotage
—all funded & perpetrated by the most wealthy & powerful capitalist & fascist nations & corporations in the world.
“I know that after my death a pile of rubbish will be heaped upon my grave, but the wind of History will sooner or later sweep it away without mercy.”
-JV Stalin
Excellent video
You forgot to mention that he also provided aid to Germany that helped them steamroll Western Europe
I’d take this channel more seriously if they called out Trump more and weren’t for the rich getting richer, while the poor and middle class wastes away.
Russia produced one Stalin and the US Empire has produced 45 stalin so far.
You should of mentioned the winter war. He invaded Finland and won but as a result of his great purge he only took 12% of Finland and a little over 100k soviet troops died just to take 12% of Finland. The winter war was also why Hitler thought it was ok to invade the Soviet Union.
He is now a good Commist🤬
They call all the Germans "Nazis" The Nazi's were the Gestapo , General Patton after the war respected the German soldiers and Hated the Russians His thought was to arm the Germans and they would wipe out the Russian army , what people did not realize was Germany ran out of supplies that's why they lost, Eisenhower went nuts when Patton told him about arming the Germans to Fight the Russians , they Sent Patton home , THE KILLING OF PATTON .
