In Genesis, God makes a good world and installs humans as its rulers. Humanity rebels and ends up ruling the world in a destructive way, leading to violence, death, and the founding of the city of Babylon. God’s response is to set in motion a plan to rescue and bless the whole world through the family of Abraham.

  6. I’m not a fan of dismissing the creation story, it is very detailed and specific. Many disingenuously uses phrases and/ or words out of context with the whole account to push a narrative. But if you look at the whole story, it will be in contradiction and refute those claims. Then, if you take God’s word here and compare with the test of the Bible, it can only be genuinely defined one way.
    Pay attention to the wording and use of day night evening and morning, in the use of heaven and heavens, consistent with the original Hebrew. Then the creation of the sun moon and stars on day 4.

  10. I'm curious where you get the idea that Lamech "took wives like property" and "sang a song of violence".

    "And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ. And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah. And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt. If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold." -Genesis 4:19-24

    He had two wives and a mere two verses of speech recorded in the Bible.

    Is there some other place in the Bible that mentions what you claim?

  12. I understand White people gotta stick up for white people. He actually begins with a lie. White people are actually the new kids on the block. All life came out of Africa, so melanated people were the first on earth. I believe if one tells a lie in the beginning and is ashamed of their lies, they keep telling them. Not to the deceived outsiders of themselves but they have to lie to maintain their stolen white supremacy which is also a lie and the God of the Bible will reveal it very soon. Shalom

  20. I think this might be a bit unfair on Noah. It takes a while for fruit to turn into alcohol. Perhaps people had not discovered this, and its effects, yet and Noah was the first? In any case, in the Bible, Noah is never criticised or condemned for getting drunk. Perhaps he wasn't even drunk as one might think, he was only relaxed and fell asleep?

  36. From my studying, I think there is more to the flood than we realize. I believe it was in a few books of the apocrypha, possibly one of the Enoch books, I could be mistaken, been doing a lot of Bible study this last year, haha. But one of the reasons God flooded the earth was definitely to wash away out sins in a grand baptism so to speak, but part of those sins and evil were from the fallen angels and their offspring, the nephilim, God saw that the fallen angels breeding with us humans was indefinitely stopping the Abrahamic bloodlines and putting an end to our DNA, thus, slowly making us humans extinct and over time if this was left unchecked, we would have been wiped out and the fallen angels and their abominations would have taken over the earth, hence the other reason why I think God HAD to flood the earth, to save the Abrahamic bloodlines and humanity from being bred into extinction essentially. And that is also why many biblical scholars believe that parts of Scripture allude to a few of the nephilim and fallen angels surviving the great flood because they reappear later in the new testament, some with new names and new tribes, but still all the same as they were in the old testament. It's a very interesting read of you look into all of this and kind of makes you understand just WHY God HAD to flood to earth, to save us.
