Women in the United States and in Western Europe are the freest and most liberated in human history. In many ways they are not merely doing as well as men, they are doing better. Women’s emancipation is one of the glories of Western civilization and one of the great chapters in the history of freedom.
So, why then are those in the women’s movement, such as the leaders and members of activist groups like the National Organization for Women, the professors in Women’s Studies departments at our colleges, and many women in the media, why are they still so dissatisfied?
These feminists hardly acknowledge women’s progress.
Yes, they concede, that some advances have been made, but the fact that most women reject their activist brand of feminism and think of themselves as free is, for this crowd, proof of just how entrenched patriarchy and inequality truly are: women are so oppressed, they don’t even know it.
Year after year these activists make claims about women and violence, women and depression, women and eating disorders, women and workplace injustice — to support their views. Over the years, I have looked carefully at many of these claims. What I have found is that much of the supporting evidence, mostly victim statistics, is misleading and often flat out wrong.
Consider the issue of the so-called gender wage gap. How many times have you heard that, for the same work, women receive 77 cents for every dollar a man earns? This charge is constantly repeated by feminist activists and their supporters, yet it is so deeply misleading as to border on outright falsehood.
The 23-cent gender pay gap is simply the difference between the average earnings of all men and women working full-time. It does not take account for differences in occupations, positions, education, job tenure, or hours worked per week.
Now, wage-gap activists in groups like the American Association of University Women or the National Women’s Law Center they say, no, no — even when you control for these factors, women still earn less. Well it always turns out that they have omitted one or two crucial data points.
Take the case of doctors. On the surface, it looks like female physicians are clearly victims of wage discrimination — they appear to earn less for the same work. But dig a little deeper beneath the surface and you find that women are far more likely than men to enter lower paying specialties like pediatrics or family medicine than higher-paying cardiology or anesthesiology. They are also more likely to work part time. And even women who work full time put in about 7 percent fewer hours than men. Women physicians are also far more likely to take long leaves of absence — usually to start a family. Now, there are exceptions, but most workplace pay gaps narrow to the point of vanishing when one accounts for all of these relevant factors.

I don't necessarily agree, but I would argue that given woman's important role in society, acceptance need to be made for the fragility of woman just like man now take paternity leave, so to a woman should be given leg up for her role of sustaining humanity. I would agree with that but I tell you what there's an argue for everything. Until you realize that no one's ever satisfied and everybody wants more from where they are is little solution.
And don't forget who enables those freedoms and rights you have ladies. Western men uplift women more than any other group of men on the planet.

3:05 : "most wage gaps narrow when you control for these additional factors". Giving actual numbers would have been great. Because in France, when you run the numbers, the remaining average wage gap is about 5% ceteris paribus.
Admittedly, it's way better than almost 25%, but it's strong evidence that something unfair may still be happening.
However, no feminist would watch this video from an objective view.
That's a falsehood right from the get go. Women were only allowed to work after the 1950's in real jobs and get an college education, still kept out of important posts during the Cold War. They are less free than the soviet women who can't even get consumer goods.

Why are many of the feminists so unsatisfied with the goals of their movement? They work on the independence of women in society and go so far that women are no longer needed by women. Actually the goal has been achieved, but where does the dissatisfaction come from? I think it is the fear that now it is not just the men that are no longer needed, but them themselves, since all goals have now been achieved, now too. The old enemy image that has, so to speak, vanished into thin air is missing.

Female truck driver 🙋♀️. Rarely encounter a jerk driver, when I do it’s usually other female drivers. I get paid just as well and sometimes more than my male counter parts, depending upon the load I take. Decent easy job too. I got 2 raises during covid and my company paid my tuition for truck driver training. Purchased my house outright and I’m now saving towards retirement. If you don’t want college debt bill, consider a blue collar job.

The only reason the wage gap "exists" is because many women take time off from work to have children while men keep working. Furthermore, men are encouraged to be the providers and work longer and harder. In fact, statistics show that men are known to take off less, ask for raises more, and work more hours. In fact, the whole wage gap myth (yes myth) came about after these 14 people published an article that talked about it, but a few tears later 11 of those people confessed that their article was wrong an inaccurate. Only one did not retract their portion of the article while the other two remained unknown and unfound.
Women's emancipation is one of the earmarks of a collapsing civilization or empire (see Sir John Glubb in The Fate of Empires for some details, though I could provide more examples going back to ancient Sumer). This collapse is well documented, and it's just our time. We're already seeing the relatively rapid decline in general cognitive ability in the West (which peaked about 1870, according to Dr. Woodley and Dr. Dutton – researchers in this area – see their book At Our Wit's End ), and is exacerbated by the dysgenic programs that fall under the category "Socialism". All the (attractive and conservative) women were happier under the now defunct patriarchy of the past, and are now medicated when childless, single, and poor over the age of 35.
Strap in, here's the hard truth. This culture (USA and the west generally) over-values professional success, monetary gain and physical prowess and undervalues emotional sensitivity, focus on family and children and nurturing relationships (these lists could be expanded). And generally speaking, men as a group natively focus on the former, and women as a group focus on the latter. This is the main reason why women are undervalued. So the women's movement solution is to abandon the latter for the former, calling all women to become more like men, even transing to become men. This movement just perpetuates the devaluing of women all the more. A true women't movement would celebrate those values held most dear in the heart of women as a group, and challenge this culture's over-valuing of male characteristics.
