As a ‘Gentile’ 😇 (adopted In) I began my Teaching through Sunday School “Card-Class”, before I knew that my Holy Bible began with the Torah. My Foundation, that I now live by, was being built. By the age of Ten (“Primary-Class”)I was taught to understand why the Israelites were GOD’s “Chosen” People. We can get so many modern examples from the Book of Exodus: America is facing a few of our own. We are brought out of turmoil and strife. We survive Wars and Civil chaos. We are on our knees then 🙏🏾 up until the moment that everything gets back to “normal”, then we return to what got us there in the first place. Thank God that He is “Long-suffering” towards us as a Nation and a People.

Yes, Moses stood vs. oppression and injustice.. God prepared him for his role. He was a great man. Yet God made it abundantly clear that it was Him, and only He could rescue His people (or any people He chooses). It's such a great and inspiring story.. And God has rescued me from what seemed impossible situations in my life. How grateful I am for His Goodness, kindness, caring, even for little old me. How great are His attributes His nature, and that as the perfect father/parent He has expectations of us, yet allows us to make our own choices. He is totally Just, as well as Mercful. Justice requires mercy for our human inability to be perfect, and Mercy requires Justice that only the truly humble and penitent, who plead for mercy will be granted their petition. God allowed the Israelites to suffer a long time, until they had enough population to survive as a nation, and until the people of Canaan had every chance to repent. Then God helped the israelites to succeed/secede. God also demanded good behavior of the Israelites (like He knew their father, His friend Abraham was), and time after time He rescued them. But at last He withdrew His help, and they fell. Yet even in that, their scattering was a way that He could fulfill His promise to Abraham, that in them would all the world be blessed. And in the Jews preserving the scriptures, the word of God, and the account of Him and humans was a blessing to the world. Then the Jew Jesus and his Jewish and other followers took/take the word of God to the world. We must never forget, too, the promise God made that those who bless the rightful heirs of God's covenant with Abraham will be blessed, and those who curse or persecute them will be cursed by God. May we as a nation be like Abraham, a friend to God.

Dennis moi dear, Like everything in the Torah the whole point is to point to the New Testament which fulfills it. It is about Salvation. All redemption stories and events are pointing to the way God made man, The Lord Jesus Christ, Emanuel, redeems those who make the right choice to find Him and follow Him. Plunge deep into His truth, Only Traditional Catholicism expresses it fully I want you to admit it that you suspect as much deep down. You have been graced by God with a good mind to lead you to make the best choice..
