So for those of you in the comments saying Title IX had always been a bad law, are you saying that women who become pregnant in college (either voluntarily or involuntarily) should be automatically expelled or otherwise discriminated against? Because it's Title IX that provides protections so that women can attend school while pregnant/parenting, thereby allowing alternatives to (and therefore not incentivizing) abortion.

Countless individuals have been wrongfully accused of committing a sex crime, wrongfully convicted of committing a sex crime or both. One of the most famous victims that both of those things happened to was Brock Turner. Sadly but not surprisingly to this day many people still believe he's actually guilty of the three charges he was tried for.

Something is truly wrong if our government can change the wording of a law AFTER it has been passed. Seems that an new law needs to be passed in order to modify an existing law (at least that's always how it's been before our government stopped even pretending to be bound by the constitution). Worse is that this seems to be the EXECUTIVE branch doing this and not the LEGISLATIVE branch…you know, the branch (Congress) responsible for passing laws.
You battle against something you cannot reasonably understand. If you cannot understand that women’s sports and activities have been very much underfunded throughout history—you cannot understand why it exists.
Also, for the people whining about losing certain sports privileges, do what literally every other activity does and charge more for the activity.

Well… Title IX mandated women to be able to participate in men's sports under penalty of law. Flip side. Be careful what you wish for. It's only a GOOD law when it supports your agenda. Title IX has been crap since adopted.
Title IX was never a good law; it's a commie law that redistributes the wealth of male revenue-producing sports to equality of outcome. Now there are a bunch of women's sports nobody watches, and all these girls sports in high school nobody watches, simply so women athletes can get into college for free.

Even Title IX in its original form was deeply flawed. My son was a top high school rower. He trained 6 days a week year-round for four years to land on a Division 1 college team. There was never even a hint of a possible college scholarship. Meanwhile, some women who rowed just a few months in high school got full rides to elite colleges. This is because the colleges had to provide equal funding to men's and women's sports, and the men's football and basketball programs sucked up all the men's money, leaving nothing for male athletes in the niche sports. Totally unfair.
I wondered if progressives that there is no major differences between men and women. Someone needs to teach them what sexual dimorphism is. There's a reason boxing and wrestling have divisions based on a participant's weight. Also, as of 2015, the average height of a man in the U.S. is 5'9" and for women is 5'3".
