J. Warner often says there are three reasons why anyone rejects a truth claim: rational, emotional, and volitional. In this video, a high school student asks J. Warner which of these three reasons best explained his resistance to the claims of Christianity in the first thirty-five years of his life? Students from the King’s Academy discuss the issue with J. Warner on the King’s Academy YouTube Channel.

Another Christian video where YT is not allowing me to hit the 'Like' button.
Very simple show me evidence, if there’s any proof of the Christian Gods existing then I’ll be thrilled to admit I was wrong. In my more than 60 years I’m still waiting for that proof
The problem never was "We need sufficient evidence and then we will believe." For example, you can be in a room with a chair and before you decide to sit down in it, you check out the design of it to see if you think it is sturdy enough to hold your weight. You can ask other people who have sat in that chair whether or not it held their weight without groaning. You can research the materials it was made out of, you can call the manufacturer and ask for specs, you can talk on the phone directly with the guy who assembled it…but after all is said and done, all the evidence in the world won't do any good, because there will always be some level of doubt. So it really all comes down to faith anyways. You either say "Yes, I have enough faith that this chair will support my weight when I sit on it" or "No, I think it will fall apart".
Also, let's not fall into the trap that there are different kinds of people who reject Christianity for various reasons. The Bible is clear that men love their darkness and sin, and that "He who is not with Me is against me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters." (Matthew12:30). No amount of knowledge will change the real issue, which is natural man's heart of stone. God is the one who removes the stone heart and gives hearts of flesh. People don't do open heart surgeries on themselves.
BRAVO to the interviewer here, she did an AMAZING job talking to the same level and asking the right questions to get the great answers, BRAVO!
If atheists are correct, humanity has made up religious claims. If this is true, how is insisting that prayer is "working' any less dogmatic? If you want to mirror as an honest interlocutor, surely we should be talking from a position of we both could be wrong, and let's figure out how to demonstrate if assertions are true or false?
If God has to do the conversion, how can praying to God do any good? Does God not know already? How can you paying to God do anything?
To answer the video title: the eternal inalterable message from Gd in the Bible, which stands on its own and fundamentally contradict the core Christian beliefs.
Evidence doesn't care what mood someone's in. What demonstrable evidence is there of the existence of the supernatural son of the creator of everything, or for this creator?
Haven't encountered any in my 60 years, but if your evidence can stand up to examination and testing, I'd love to hear it.
He's right: LAME!!!!!!!!
What a wonderful interview!

This is where I am with my daughter right now: prayer and modeling. Loved this answer!
Raised in church but it never seemed real to me. It was just how I was raised. Once I saw evidence I believed. I'm ashamed to admit that but it's the truth.
