At the end of Revelation chapter six is the all-important question, “Who can stand?”. Chapter seven provides us a thorough answer to that question, and it culminates in these two verses. Dr. Baucham reiterates the gravity of this question, and calls us to examine ourselves to see if we will be able to stand on the Day of His Coming.

  1. I apologize for my previous comment. I'm going to assume that there's another explanation here for why you act like when people say they don't see color, that they mean that literally. I feel like I am torn in this situation, where I either have to assume that you're lying because you know, which would put into question your character and possibly your faith, or that you're stupid because you don't know, which would put into question your cognitive faculties and qualifications to be a trusted theological speaker and teacher. I don't want to assume either of these things, but it's as if one of them has to be true, because there appears to be no other explanation. Assuming the worst is hard to avoid when you don't know which is worse. I'm just going to give you the benefit of the doubt that there's some third explanation that I'm not aware of.

  7. Hey Voodie, its nice to see your viewership go up. I couldnt understand why it was so low because you speak with knowledge and heart. The way you express scripture is my favorite because you make it simple and point out the flaws. Your the first I've heard say that interpretation can still be made today because God knows we may have it wrong sometimes. Your in a great position to help the African American community come closer and I hope that happens. I wish your video could be actually video though because its nicer seeing expression as it should be…….God bless from Canada

  14. I read a couple comments here and I'm concerned that Voddie has been taken out of context. Just because a church doesn't believe in postribulational rapture doesnt make them any less Christian than Voddie. Does it not say in scripture that for now we know in part but will know in full when we see our messiah in heaven. If they believe that Jesus was the son of God, died on the Cross to pay the ultimate price for our sin, that we are one body in Christ and that through his holy spirit working in us, we grow continuouly in righteousness, who can say they are not Christian? Switching churches isn't necessarily a problem but be careful not to switch over petty issues.

  16. Amen we are really in the tribulations time it's really so with all the wars, famine, children being disobedience and what is Gody is wrong and what is satanic is right,,more than ever before we have to stand on the solid rock of God.

  18. As someone raised in East Tennessee and raised to believe in a pre trib rapture. Once I started reading, studying and after reading Revelation chapter 20. I discovered I was believing a doctrine that was not biblically backed.

    I cannot find a church that doesn't believe in the rapture here. I thought I found one and they slowly snuck in the word rapture, then I realized, it's a secret. What are they thinking? So, I am blessed to be able to have Pastor Voddie online..
