I have not seen a single person ever explain a good argument for the untreated being existent, everyone goes about it the wrong way. There is no explanation f9r existence from nothingness so to tey to explain that is ignorance. How can anyone tey to explain a timeless being of foreverness, whoever created us was, always, time is a human construct time doesn't apply to timeless, it would be better for people of religion not of religion 9f faith not of faith to just say, I DO NOT KNOW, GOW THE CREATOR WAS JOT CREATED!. Because we don't do we.

"Every house is built by someone" but the builder of all things is an infinite super mansion that happens to have the blueprints for every logically possible house inside for no metaphysical reason whatsoever? Sure. You have to justify the supposed categorical error. There are other "brute fact" possibilities and you don't get to describe the most highly specified type of thing there could be and call it "undesigned" and "uncreated" because you arbitrarily slap convenient metaphysical labels on it. An infinite multiverse is uncreated and undesigned, timeless, and also doesn't look like it needs to be designed as it is pure metaphysical chaos that is incidentally order-optional.
A categorical error would be saying god is exist but he's outside of space and time. He is uncaused and is not physical, he exist nowhere and never.
Of course, it's only a category error if you believe in Sean's god. Atheists don't, so how did something come from nothing?
Recently this thought hit me, What if there is a Level 2 God? In a Diferrent Layer
interesting assertion. No one knows the answer to this question. Many will make up answers like this as if it is a fact though it is not written in scripture nor is there proof. Perhaps, the universe is eternal without beginning or end? Maybe God does have a creator?! One thing is certain, this guy doesn't but pretends like he is an authority.

McDowell is utilizing a pseudo-logical argument here of which does Not lead to a reliable conclusion.
He’s operating upon an as yet unproven premise… that Everything has a beginning ! We humans may draw such a conclusion based upon our own limited experience but our experiences are not necessarily representative of the entire cosmos. Which means McDowell & his apologist cohorts are making the same mistake. They are not looking at the physical universe Objectively ! They are imposing their own ideas & values upon the universe when they know very little about the universe. They can’t ! Even scientists of different disciplines that study the cosmos don’t possess sufficient evidence to draw any absolute conclusions about the origins of the cosmos.
Yet these apologists seem to have all the answers… answers that please the simple-minded is what they are because there is no physical evidence supporting their theistic claims. For example… the very foundation of christianity, the Resurrected Body of some ancient Jewish rabbi referred to as Jesus. The Only “evidence” they have are other people’s testimonies. That’s It ! There is No independent empirical evidence of that Jesus & his resurrection, NONE other than other people’s testimonies. Jesus if he existed (and most academic historians largely agree he likely did) there is No direct physical evidence because Jesus appears to have never wrote anything himself. There is no known gospel of Jesus. So there is no way one can “oh yeh, he existed because I believe he existed.” BELIEF by itself is NOT EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE !

Some people are closed minded. Anyone who says God was not created at some point in the distant past, is not willing to accept logic and common sense. If even a very small particle existed before God, and that particle formed him in some way or another, it means there was something else before God. It's simple logic.

Everything must be made, even concepts like death and life, everything must have a beginning nothing is infinite even the universe isnt infinite, by definition Christians are insane, the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results, why would you expect god to be the one exception despite everything depeanding on something

There could not be a more absurd, infantile argument for it. Those who refuse to read the Bible can surely find solace in the dictionaries.
Truth is nobody knows and nobody can confirm. Technically anyone who tells you they do are indeed false prophets. None of us have ever seen nor talked to god as we call it.

That endless cycle question is a great point. It's the reason for me doubting the existence of god. To me it's implausible to believe that god was just magically there from the start. "Faith" is like a pill that's just too big for me to swallow.
This is a prime example of the masterful manipulation of religion. It's all a mind game.

A better way to answer is not answering it and instead looking at something that you can work with there's two aruements who created god and what created the universe it's clear at least to me what's more reason able a god created the world and I don't really understand how god came to be maybe it's just to foreign for me to understand but I know at least in are world that everything has to have a beginning there for a god creating are world is more reasonable and I know it’s the Bible because of ofther reasons
Why do I never hear a proper follow-up to this response? Which is, what do you base that assertion upon? The answer would boil down to something along the line of he tells us so. Which should invite the question, why should I accept this as reflective of reality? If I were to tell you something you can not verify about my nature would you accept it at face value? A god could, in theory, make us perceive whatever they want to. So, how can I discern the difference between believing it to be true and it actually being true.
This question was in the beginning of Richard Dawkin's book. Seemed like such an obvious fallacy; a very childlike question. The arrogance of atheists is truly unwarranted.

That question is not a fallacy, that question is an attack of a DEMON. GOD IS NOT CREATED GOD CREATED ALL UNIVERSE GOD HAS NO START NO END. GOD HAS ALL THE WISOM LOVE JUSTICE AND GLORY. BUT NO A DEMON DECIDE TO ATTACK OUR FAITH
We are in time therefore imperfect. God is outside of time. Therefore by definition perfect. That’s why we have to “perfect” to get into heaven. The quotation marks being Jesus who dies for our sins.
