Excellent metaphors applied here. This definitely deserves more attention than it has received. The Christian Church (and other authorities) seem to be ignoring accountability when it comes to their followers' behavior; making the entire group look bad. I see a population of "bible thumpers" who don't study the word, but more so adopt black and white rules which alienate young people from the church; as well as shaming otherwise benign behavior. This toxicity generally stems from the Baby Boomer Population or youthful people that copied these behaviors of old people, essentially because it's easier for them to succeed in the world because they are rewarded for acting a fool. If we know the content of the Bible in a basic way, we can easily see that very little of it is being applied in religion. The use of head coverings is a prime example. Also what it means to "sin" which remains a gray area throughout. In fact, if you were to call out a typical Bible Thumper Baby Boomer when they are behaving in direct contradiction to how the Bible Teaches, they will often resort to Gaslighting, and continue behaving in anything but a "Godly way." It is quite disheartening – and I am sick of not seeing anything but this behavior. If we were to apply what the Bible teaches – we in fact would see a Religion which more resembles Islam. The church is very, very sick. and I highly encourage people to quit using these toxic behavior as a model to what it looks like to be in a Union with the Holy Spirit. Because it should be attractive. Remember the Spirit is "fruitful," the body should be attractive. Not filled with obesity, pride, jealousy, shame and negative emotions in general. Baby boomer bible thumpers remain some of the most toxic people in the population. Their psychological abuse is more "evil" or just as evil as violent crime we encounter.
Thank you sir for these videos and teaching many.
