Why Water Matters in the Bible
In the beginning of the Bible, God transforms a desolate wilderness into a garden through a stream that waters the ground and brings life wherever it goes. This image gets developed throughout the biblical story as wells, cisterns, rain, and rivers all become images of God’s creative power. In this video, we’ll explore the “water of life” theme through the biblical story and see how it leads to Jesus, who presents himself as the one bringing living water to a world that is desperately thirsty.

Funny thing, this place will never be another Eden. Eden was paradise it was comparable to nothing there will never be another one. The Bible says the earth and the heaven will melt away like wax and we will be given new bodies with new names the bodies will be untouchable by Satan and no one will know the name unless given to them.

My baptism came from within. I fasted, and did a meditation, and this blue white light showered upon me. I was compelled to forgive everyone and myself. I came outside and felt a touch enter my forehead. My anxiety, fear, depression, gone. I could not smoke anymore. I could not zone out in front of a tv anymore. That light will fade if not nurtured though. Temptation never quits. Higher dimensional beings- both good and bad- dont recognize this thing we call privacy. Christ is within you. I was atheist/pantheist. Intention is everything. Ritual is meaningless if done out of fear for what might happen if we dont do it. We should be wary of the zombie mode, and when recognized, can be cured through fasting and meditation/prayer.

Also, isn't it interesting that Jesus commands his followers to be baptized in water that they may be buried and raised with Christ? Kinda makes you wonder if maybe baptism is more than just a sign of a man's devotion to God and is instead an act of grace by God for us, which pulls us out of our sinful, hopeless condition and makes us inheritors of the new Eden that will come when Christ returns.
It makes since how I am always drawn to water, streams, rocks, nature…I somehow feel connected to God through it. ❤️
