Nobody states the obvious, that these cities are 10000% Democrat run and monopolized. And they keep voting them in. Nobody to blame but thmeselves.
its not an addiction crisis, its the fucking capitalism. get your notes correct. how much is really the rent in LA? is it affordable to anyone? is the state conclusive to everyone? because the last time i checked, everyone are equal, but some are more equal than others.

The substance abuse is a direct of trauma, abuse, being unloved or not wanted….don’t believe me watch Soft White Underbelly on YT and every single person interviewed is a result of a core issue..NOT the result of substance abuse…

The Council leaders in these placed often don't believe in accountability & self responsiblity at all and it got worse. It isn't everything but it is absolutely essential. You can't help someone who doesn't want to become self responsible or change. You don't help someone by enabling their anti social behaviour & Self destruction.
I know its so far gone now but maybe a solution is this?
(0) Stop voting for virtue signalers or those that prevent new high density housing.
(1) Let supply meet demand on housing:
Change zoning laws so high & medium density affordable houaing can be built on a large scale, & sold exclusively for shelter, not investment.
Some of which is Govt owned social housing, but you get kicked out if u trash it too much or are anti social. That takes a lot off the street, not the worst. Worked for a mentally ill & addicted friend of mine.
(2) Jail people for petty crime, but to Rehabilitation & life centered facilities, which include no access to drugs and good private spaces for the person to rage because they can't get their addiction.
They would need life affirming activities & preparation for when they leave.
Jail can be good!! As the ex drug addict in this video said.
(3) If (2) doesn't work for a few thousand people, and they keep up naucance behaviour, put & register them in basic homeless accommodation with decent basic services, methodone type programs & policing for safety (& freedom to leave). But little services for homeless outside of there.
(4) Give them ID's to gain services (yes i know some will refuse). No unregistered or new Homeless from interstate to prevent the cost getting larger. Drive those ppl out of state and drop them off.
(5) Let a small number of ppl be on street if not a nuicance.
Federal Govt money would be reasonable too as many homeless migrated there.

Homelessness has been 99% about drug addiction since day 1. The deceitful overlords have refused to be honest about this fact as it would cut into the millions and billions they earn off the homeless industry. Track all money spent on the issue and you find a small group of ppl that extract half the cash or more running the projects. This is why a tiny shed built will cost 1/2 a million dollars. It’s time for a true revolt to overturn our entire system.

Here's the solution: spend 0$ on sheltering the homeless. The more you spend, the more you will have. If you want to double the number of homeless on your streets in five years, double your budget for homeless shelter in 2021.
I live in S.F. and would vote for a republican if a good one showed up, but all they want to do is cut taxes for the rich. How does that solve homelessness? The issue needs to be discussed by both parties on a federal level.
Where are all the drugs coming from? Instead of wars in the Middle East, we should formally declare war on the Mexican drug cartels.

It has never been more obvious that the human species is a failed experiment. Our elected leaders only care about getting re-elected and serving their corporate and wealthy plutocrat owners. We don't have two political parties. We have two wings of one party of wealthy, connected professional politicians who absolutely do not care about the suffering of people, and in fact only see an opportunity to PROFIT from the suffering of people. Corporate lobbyists write the legislation that keeps the money flowing to the corporations while America slowing becomes the wealthiest 3rd world country on the planet.
Where do thehomeless people get the money for food and drugs? We never hear how they manage to stay alive.

Always have money for cigarettes though. Not that I don’t think that their addiction is a disease that does exactly what this women says. “It becomes the driving force in their life, while everything else falls behind.”
This is a corruption problem too. These people should be getting the help and treatment they need. They have to want to change as well, another part of a larger issue.

We need a mass medical intervention. 1. Declared incompetent. 2. MASH hospital / rehab a la' Sheriff Joe in AZ. 3. Interned for a min of 90 days upon LEO intervention and a pos tox screen. 4. Address detox, recovery, health and relationship repair. 5. They relapse, they go to a real jail.
LA's homeless problem is only going to grow. That gorgeous weather is ideal for street living.
