He was sentenced to seven years in prison and up to 7.4 million dollars in fines, as well as 64.6 million dollars in fines to pay to the victims after an additional conviction for antitrust (monopoly abuse). On May 18, 2022, Shkreli was arrested at the federal low-security prison in Allenwood, Pennsylvania.
