When they state that they do not require any evidence for their faith, Mary Jo Sharp explains that there are 2 presumptions individuals make. The very first presumption is that faith doesn’t include thinking, in spite of the words of Peter and the actions of Paul and Jesus. The 2nd anticipation is that our faith will never be shaken, when in Scripture and in our own lives faith-shaking experiences are rather common.
