How Does God Use the Evidence to Call People to Faith?

If the Gospel has the power of Salvation, what role does Christian “case making” have in communicating the offer of God? How does God use evidence to communicate the Gospel? What role does the evidence play (if any)? In this interview with Kurt Jaros from Defenders Media (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGonkyps850), J. Warner describes the role evidence plays in sharing the Gospel.

Jim, I wouldn’t say your testimony is “meaningless.” True, it isn’t the hard and fast evidence that the Gospel is real, and so it’s not the foolproof way to lead someone to Christ. But our walk with God goes far beyond just leading people to Christ. Your testimony is valuable and meaningful in so many other ways, including giving believers cause to rejoice.
Great! Thanks. Gonna use it. "We have the one theistic worldview that is driven by history."
John 3 verse 16 ^_^
please search the Gospel (Bible) all who read this.
Your soul is far to precious to gamble in thinking there is no hell or need for salvation in The Lord Jesus
Thank you for the excellent video ^_^

Great questions. Great answers. The other religions are without excuse
I guess I think about the thief on the cross, he did not see the Resurrection before he was saved yet he believed. I am sure he seen it shortly thereafter though… 🙂What was the evidence he based his decision on? I guess I wonder, because from his point of view, he was watching another man die. How is that evidence? I mean, I am sure the Holy Spirit had been working on him, but I am trying to think about it from the logical perspective that you are talking about or am I misunderstanding you?
I think the thief was leaning on Jesus’s moral standings and actions along with the stories of miracles at the hands of Jesus, he may have even witnessed some of them. I guess the biggest evidence that started me on my walk was my moral failings and Jesus's example of a moral life along with His solution to my failings, it made sense. Only someone with what He said and did would be God.
Well, I would dig the evidence out of your testimony of how you became a Christian, I think that is how you could also use their testimony
Great convo, thanks for sharing.
Awesome video
Hi J
Yes, unless Christ actually rose from the dead, we are the most miserable of all people, thank God Almighty he's alive and well, and on the right hand of the Father and is coming back, probably sooner than later, if you believe the evidence of the times we're in. Love how you took command of this discussion.
Tracey Burroughs from South Africa 🇿🇦 watching your episode. Thank you for another good episode.
Please keep up the great work. Such a great tool for evangelism!
