Today on Marking the End Times, I continue the coverage of the Israel-Gaza War and the fact that we have now reached day 20 since the horrific Hamas-led violence started.

I explain Israel’s prep for a ground invasion and what Iran has in store. I also read Ezekiel 38 to expose the connections between the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict and the prophesied Gog-Magog War.

  6. It's not the Gog Magog War. That was happens so they can "take a spoil" not to eliminate Israel. This war has nothing to do with Gog Magog. Gog War happens right before the Abomination of Desolation. Why? God intervenes so the Anti-Christ goes into the Temple and demands worship by all, especially the Jews. But, the Jews just saw God deliver them from the Gog invaders. Jews finally know who their Savior is. So, the Anti-Christ ends the Temple sacrifices and demands worship as God. Jews refuse and they go to the mountains because the AC now hates the Jews and wants to kill them. The Holy Spirit popped that into my head (AC commits abomination of desolation because the Jews are no longer fooled and know Jesus is their Messiah not him) just a few moments ago and it makes total sense. Anyway, the Rapture is about to happen because the world is ripe for the unveiling of the Anti-Christ. Don't you find it strange the IDF got caught flat-footed by the Hamas invasion? They are supposed to know when a rock hits the fence let alone bulldozers breaking through. And, it took the IDF hours and hours and hours to respond. Doesn't that all sound suspicious to any of you? I agree with JD Farag–this War in Israel was allowed to happen so the peace could happen. Blows my mind, too, doesn't it? So, Rapture happens, Anti-Christ revealed with the First Seal and then the AC confirms the Abraham Accords peace deal and there is suddenly peace in the Middle East. And, we all know when they say Peace and Safety–sudden destruction. The Sudden Destruction is Judgement (2nd seal which is a world at war–not one war but many)…and so on… Thanks, God, it's all starting to make sense.

Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison, 20:8 and he will go out to deceive the nations that are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle ; the number of which is like the sand of the sea. 20:9 And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city; and fire came down from God from heaven and consumed them. /// Gog and Magog is after the Millennium Rev. 20 says it clearly, even in Ezekiel this confrontation is described as something that happens after many days of peace… that is… after the Millennium… or more than That's not even a battle. The people of God will not take up any weapon to fight, the Lord sends fire from heaven and consumes them. That war is not for this time. If there is another war. Maybe the one in Psalm 83. But not Gog and Magog. Blessings

Pastor Mark, you described perfectly how it is possible for Israel to be overcome, Israel will doubtless aware of this potential strategy and it is based on sheer weight of numbers and therefore massively disadvantageous to Israel . The Israelites know from centuries of bitter experience that they will be persecuted by non Jews ( being diplomatic) the world over if Israel was toppled and the Hebrews banished or slaughtered from their rightful land. From Israels POV , I think Israel WILL nuke without warning , (not sabre rattling like Putin and Lavrov.) IF faced with total defeat because they have nothing to loose , and who could blame them ? I think Iran is aware of that possibility and that is why they fight coward war . I think I offer up ample food for thought for forthcoming episode in near future? I am not jewish myself but lament at Israels current position. The so called " free world " needs Israel more than is realized . God bless.

  32. Meshech and Tubal were located in modern Turkey. Turkey leads the Gog invasion. Watch for Turkey to resurrect the ancient Ottoman rule of the middle east.

    Ezekiel 38-39 describes the Gog battle or battles depending on your perspective. It is very easy to determine the timing of the Gog/Magog war. If we look at the end of Eze 39 we see a set of conditions that can only be true at a particular time in history.

    Eze 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

    Eze 39:22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

    Eze 39:23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

    Eze 39:24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

    Eze 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

    Eze 39:26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

    Eze 39:27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

    Eze 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

    Eze 39:29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

    The conditions described at the end of Eze 39 can only occur at the end of the age. Israel knows God from that day forward, the gentiles will see the judgment God has dished out, God will pour His spirit out upon the house of Israel and no longer hide His face from Israel. God rescues Israel at the battle of Armageddon. So that makes the end of the Gog battle (Eze 39) line up with the timing of Armageddon. That makes Gog the AntiChrist which we see hinted at in Eze 38.

    Eze 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

    God says the prophets of Israel wrote about Gog in their writings. This defines Gog as the AC since Armageddon is where God defeats the AC and company which is also the Gog war. When we search the OT for a battle in Israel that God defeats the enemies arrayed against Israel with Israel returning to the Lord for ever after. We find such descriptions in the Day of the Lord scriptures from the OT. The DOTL scriptures end with God defeating the armies invading Israel and Israel returning to the Lord for ever after just as we see in Eze 39.
