Deceit and calculated play on words. Take a closer look at the LDS faith and you will find Christ at its center.
is it possible? anything is possible but not everything is equally likely
Is any very religious person open minded? How can you be open minded when your questions ultimately have to have the same set of answers? The ones found in the Bible or Quran etc
No, it's not.
No, it is not possible that mormonism is true, nor is it possible that Christianity is true. Not to mention, both are extremely shallow, being on par with a bad B rated sci-fi. I was born knowing better and remember the first time I heard a man explaining the Mormon theory behind the podium as an infant, knowing then that he was wrong.
When I met the LDS Missionaries, I didn't know what to believe. So I prayed to the unknown God and asked him if I could believe the missionaries. A couple of day later his spirit came to me, awakened me to a remembrance of God, and testified to me that the LDS Missionaries are his servants.
Never use the word epistemology without saying what you think it means (It's clear you have no idea). Great thoughts! Good video!
It’s interesting you say that Revelation is a way God reveals truth but at the same time refute that a testimony (personal revelation) can be wrong. Either God is speaking to us or he is not. Seems pretty straight forward.
Truth is connected to how the universe and his physical laws affect the micro and the macro. When one looks at the universe and it's measurements and the physicality of it, and then you look at traditional Christianity atheism Big bang and all the other explanations of its origin, they all fall short of Truth. I first learned from the Bible itself what truth was, and then I chose the church which fit the truth.
Thanks for the video, I hope I can dive a little deeper, and seek your opinion. How did the Israelite's of the old testament know that the prophets were right when prophesying of the coming Messiah? Did they base their decision to listen and even obey their words, because they had written proof that it was true? Or did they choose to have faith, which prerequisites the Holy Ghost? Do we believe in the Bible, only because we can logically determine if it's true? If it's pure logic and reason that should dictate to our conscience and heart, whether to believe something, then can we really claim we have anything faith at all? Since faith is the absence of physical evidence, but rather it is the action one takes, in hopes of a future result, not knowing before hand… if, what, how, or when that result will come, but one must still trust that God will respond to that act of faith. Anyway, thanks for reading this comment, I am anxious to receive any feedback, from anyone.
So you would LIE and say you think Mormonism could be true! Wow!
Is it possible Alice In Wonderland is true?
The obvious answer=NO !!!!
PLEASE READ
all you anti Mormons I have to tell you to use your brain and know that it’s the same thing as being Christian except we follow the commandments and think god and Jesus are different people.
big fat No
Is it possible that Satan is dating Medusa?
YES!!! … It is TRULY a warm pile of horeshit!
I like your video! Many Mormons say they know something is true because it feels good! No kidding! Many Mormons confuse strong personal sentiment with the truth!
What is missing in mormonism is TRUTH … So one must ask of themselves does TRUTH MATER.
THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE JESUS AND HE IS THE TRUTH, SO DO YOU WANT THE TRUTH , IF NOT IT DOES NOT MATTER …..
If there were three Nephites and john the beloved still on earth baptizing preaching conferring the holy ghost. How could there be a total APOSTACY? ? Anyone with a mind can see this statment of total apostacy is false with at least four OF JESUS APOSTLES STILL HERE …
It's like they are completely brainwashed
Nope it's not true
I have found so many strong evidences that the LDS church is false, that I can't understand why there are any Mormons left.
I think it is the smarter position to say; "What is true about Mormonism?" The true seeker is the true finder. Jesus taught us that there must be a restoration of all things before he returns. So let us humble ourselves and look for what has been missing. Paul stated that he wanted us to be of one mind. It is my belief that we arrive at that one mind through the admission that we know in part. Jude v3 "it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."
Mormons are true. Proof? In the Doctrine and Covenants, it says that once God returned to earth to visit Joseph smith. They said that earth will advance in all good and bad. Think that is false? Think of how many inventions were made after Jesus died. Now, think of how many inventions were made in the 1800s and up. Big difference huh?
If any man will do his will he shall know of the doctrine
The Book Of Mormon is simply and Addition to the Bible, And if you actually truely read the Book and compare and cross reference it through the bible you will know that it really is the missing testiment of christ and that christ really did minister in the Americas. I have read it. I've tried to disprove it and all the claims that I've run into against the lds church have mainly focused on Joseph Smith. Now I know he was a true prophet of god that translated the Book of Mormon through the revelation of god. At the age of 15 he didnt know how to read, write, He had ZERO education. Yet the Book of Mormon was wrote through him. Also there were 3 men apart from Joseph that witnessed the testimony of Moroni the angel to the truthfullness of this book they saw the plates. they touched them and wrote about it. 7 more men witnessed the plates and the urim and thumim first hand also. And ultimately. In the book of moroni you read an account of his testimony and he pleads for you to pray if it isnt true. and with faith in god I did just that. I prayed if this wasnt the true church. I got an answer and I can say without a doubt this book is another testimant of christ. I know this church is true and I know this because of the answers and blessings I have received and I know that it is threw christ and the atonement that we will be able to be with our father in heaven again. I say with all the love that I have that I'm so greatful for this church and the oppertunity that I have to be able to serve the lord and be able to go on a mission. I say this in the name of jesus christ. Amen.
NO, not a snowball's chance in hell. Mormonism is easily debunked, by Mormonism, The Holy Bible, The ONE Gospel ( there are no others), historical fact, archaelogy, and common sense, to name but a few.
sre you a member?? no so hush
NO! Based on all the evidence and research it is abundantly clear that the Mormon religion is a scam.
Mormonism will die a natural death over the next couple of decades maximum, owing to the proliferation of information about the overt frauds perpetrated by those who started and promoted the cult… and this is mainly due to the availability of stacks of information on the web, significantly here on YouTube.
Many high-ranking ex-Mormons are online, explaining what they found out eventually and exactly why they left the LDS church.
Increasingly, Mormon missionaries will find it next to impossible to persuade new people to sign up, and soon the LDS church will be just a historical footnote.
Here are some of the erroneous and dangerous MORMON teachings, which are in deep conflict with Christianity:
"GOD used to be a man on another planet."
(Mormon Doctrine, p. 321, Joseph Smith, Times and Seasons, vol. 5, p. 613-614, Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, p. 345, Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p. 333).
"The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s . . . ,"
(D&C 130:22).
"God is in the form of a man."
(Joseph Smith, Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, p. 3).
"God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!!! . . . We have imagined that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea and take away the veil, so that you may see."
(Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345).
"God the Father had a Father."
(Joseph Smith, History of the Church, vol. 6, p. 476, Heber C. Kimball, Journal of Discourses, vol. 5, p. 19, Milton Hunter, First Council of the Seventy, Gospel through the Ages, p. 104-105).
"God resides near a star called Kolob."
(Pearl of Great Price, p. 34-35, Mormon Doctrine, p. 428).
"God had sexual relations with Mary to make the body of Jesus."
(Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 4, 1857, p. 218, vol. 8, p. 115). This one is disputed among many Mormons and not always 'officially' taught and believed. Nevertheless, Young, the 2nd prophet of the Mormon church taught it.
"Therefore we know that both the Father and the Son are in form and stature perfect men; each of them possesses a tangible body . . . of flesh and bones."
(Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 38).
"After you become a good Mormon, you have the potential of becoming a god.
"(Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345-347, 354.)
"Then shall they be gods, because they have no end; therefore shall they be from everlasting to everlasting, because they continue; then shall they be above all, because all things are subject unto them. Then shall they be gods, because they have all power, and the angels are subject unto them."
(D&C 132:20).
"There are many gods."
(Mormon Doctrine, p. 163).
"And they (the Gods) said: Let there be light: and there was light."
(Book of Abraham 4:3).
"There is a mother god."
(Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 443).
"God is married to his goddess wife and has spirit children."
(Mormon Doctrine, p. 516).
~~~
NOTE HOW THE MORMON TEACHING ON THE TRINITY HAS CHANGED OVER THE YEARS:
"The trinity is three separate Gods: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. That these three are separate individuals, physically distinct from each other, is demonstrated by the accepted records of divine dealings with man."
(Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 35).
This is truly astounding to read, for the Book of Mormon states very clearly belief in the Trinity as taught by traditional Christianity:
"And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen."
(Refer original 1830 printing of the Book of Mormon, in 2 Nephi, at the end of Chapter 13, on page 120 also refer the current LDS website where the same wording is quoted.)
Blessings!
