Here's the critical difference, as stated by Dr. Stephen Meyer in his book, Return of the God Hypothesis. In Chapter 16, he points out that an inflationary-string multiverse (the only kind that skeptics can posit to seemingly account for the fine-tuning of our universe) – this multiverse itself must be extremely fine-tuned (in its universe-generating mechanism) in order to exist and to produce multiple universes, which are necessary in order to seemingly account for OUR universe’s fine-tuning as if it arose by random chance. However, this won’t work because the multiverse itself requires extreme fine-tuning to begin its production of universes! Therefore, whether it’s to account for the fine-tuning of our universe (Meyer, Chapters 7, 8, & 13) OR to account for the fine-tuning of a feasible multiverse (that could hypothetically account for the fine-tuning of our universe), an intelligent Fine-Tuner or Designer of at least one universe, and possibly of a multiverse, must exist! (Meyer, Chapter 16) In essence, a Creator God must exist; there are no realistic alternatives, as long as we precisely follow the details of this evidence. The only way to avoid this conclusion is to NOT follow the evidence where it leads, in terms of its details. This is one of several reasons why I, a former atheist, am now a believer in the Christian God, which makes the most sense considering all forms of evidence.
The term "physical universe" is fully synonymous with the term "physical reality."

If there is more than one universe, then they are all real. But if they are all real, then they are all part of what is real and therefore constitute one reality. But if they all constitute one reality, then they are all part of one physical universe.

Zero Evidence of a Multiverse.
The Idea of a Multiverse is the single theory that all of Atheist beliefs cling to.
Gen. 2:1 reads "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them." The word "heavens" can be interpreted to mean multiverse.
If there were evidences that there are more universes, it only multiplies the question, "who created those universes?" It does not eliminate the need for God but multiplies the need for an explanation for origins of the multiverse? An infinite God can create more universes, the question is did He?
The atheist wants physical evidence that God exists, we can ask for the same thing, physical evidence and as of today, there is none.
I don't think it's a good video, I reject the explanation. There is no evidence for a multiverse and the whole concept of a multiverse is absurd. It's a fabrication by atheist who made up this idea for an answer that there could not be a God.

Yep. It's not about who has the evidence. We all use the same evidence. It's which interpretation, which worldview, is superior as an explanation.

I don't follow the notion that a fine tuned universe is evidence for million of universes. A theory is not evidence. You are stretching the definition of the word, evidence. As I read the Bible, there is in fact, reason to believe that there is more than one universe. There is the spiritual universe and the material universe. Million of universes? sound like comic book theory. The place that was created for fallen angels may be another universe. It sound like you are saying that if someone can think it, that fact of thinking it, is evidence. To which I say, a point in every direction is the same as no point at all.
In all honesty, things like the mutiverse, may satisfy an inntellectual curiousity but its a far cry from the message of the gospel and only distracts people from what is important. For example the eternal salvation of their souls.
There's no chance for a multiverse if you understand anything about physics. The second law of thermodynamics is a good start.

In a vague way, Quantum Mechanics implies a multiverse (if you subscribe to the Copenhagen Interpretation). But even QM does not require a multiverse. The other reason to suggest a multiverse is to avoid the idea of fine tuning. A multiverse does pose an alternative, but requires far more entities, and therefore should be given a lower priority.
This is my question with the idea of a “multi-verse.” This idea that infinite amount of universes exist with infinite variables. Wouldn’t that insinuate that there is a universe where the “multi-verse” doesn’t exist? Wouldn’t that then break the loop (regressing the infinite regress) and leave with our own/only universe?
Also – to identify a duplicate of an object, wouldn’t that require a intimate knowledge (or maybe a few steps less) of the first to make the stamp of identification? (Duplication). If we (humans / scientist) don’t understand what gravity is – I have a hard time believing that scientists know what makes up our universe and declaring that there are more like ours.
I do have full confidence, however, in God who rose Jesus from the dead. That to me is not much of a leap in logic than the latter.

I see two logical arguments for two other universes. There is no place for either Heaven or Hell in this universe but we know that they exist. God exists outside any universe, but where sre Enoch and Elijah?
Since God made one universe He can make as many as He wants.

I don't know the standard definition for the term multiverse. What I do know is that for the Christian, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Joshua 10 would be a fascinating subject to discuss.
The proposition that there are infinite numbers of other universes and we just happen to be in the one universe that is “fine tuned” for sentence seems logically improbable at best. In an infinity of possible universes, no matter how unlikely or improbable the “fine tuning”, the probability of there being infinite universes exhibiting said “fine tuning” is equally probable. When infinity is invoked to explain away the statistically improbable, the argument opens itself up to absurdity.

I know you used this as an example, and probably right off the top of your head, but fine tuning I dont think is a SMALL piece of evidence. But I understand what you are saying.
