Those "spiritual" powers ARE humans. Spirit resides in the human mind /brain. It does not exist outside of the human brain. So, if there are "bad" spirits then what you're really talking about is bad people. Unless you have proof that spirit is an entity that exists outside the human brain and can survive without a body most of your claim is nonsense.

For the most a reasonable account. However Makie et al make a total hash of Genesis 1. Im disappointed as I spend some time defending Heiser and Makie on issues, but tbh, the BP account of the sun moon and stars in Genesis 1 has nothing to do with the apostle Pauls allusion to heavenly powers. Genesis 1 is talking literally about physical cosmic bodies that we see today and it is not being allegorical..G1 has zippo to do with the sons of God in Job ruling anything. BP do better.
