Disgraceful untrue propaganda. The Heritage Foundation has become just another Rush Limbaugh-type source of reactionary disinformation. So glad to see Vote by Mail has been such a rousing success story throughout the United States.
Between 2000 – 2014 there were 31 cases of alleged voter fraud out of 1 billion ballots cast during that time. The Heritage Foundation is famous for wanting to RESTRICT voting access. Their founder admitted it in 1980 ("I don't want everyone to vote" he said), there's a video from them this year bragging about "how easy" it was to pass their restrictive laws in Utah & they know it. Don't buy into the BS lies. Voter fraud is extremely rare & definitely not rampant enough to the point of being able to swing a presidential election. But most people who see this will be on the right so I don't expect anyone to take my word for it. So… LOOK IT UP YOURSELF.
Voter fraud – which rarely happens – and election fraud are two different things. However, human errors and irregularities is not a crime or fraud! You at the Heritage Foundation just want to throw doubt in our election process to push unconstitutional voting laws to disenfranchise voters who would likely vote for Democratic candidates. We are not fooled by your game. As you should know nothing is perfect! People make mistake. But your organization is to get Americans voters angry with your manufactured lies is helping, especially what happened on Jan 6th. If you really wanted to make election foolproof, you would start on how to make it better without taking away the people right to vote. Can you do that? I don't believe so since right-wingers are financing your bogus organization.

Thanks, Heritage Foundation, for bringing this information to the public's attention. I'm sure your intention was not to scare people away from voting by mail, but rather to enlighten voters to make them aware of the pitfalls in the mail-in voting process so that they can take corrective action. For example, voters who complete absentee ballots don't have to mail in their ballot. They could drop them off at their county courthouse or Board of Registrar's office or use any number of voter ballot drop boxes or the one set up in their voting district. My point: There are alternatives to using the mail to ensure your vote is counted. So, while the information THF has provided is admirable and much needed, you needn't scare people to not vote by mail. Yes, voter fraud does happen but as your coverage shows it's more likely to happen IF voters rely on canvassers to complete and submit their ballots OR rely on the postal service close to election deadlines.
Complete your ballot yourself or with someone you know and trust and mail them in ahead of the scheduled deadline or hand-deliver your ballot, if possible. These simple actions will reduce the chances of voter fraud significantly.

Today, 12/1/20, Trump's appointed Attorney General said there was no evidence of enough fraud in this election. One of Trump's lawyers said any Republican who claims Biden won should be hung or beheaded. How Christian of Trump supporters. And the people Trump wants killed are Republicans supporting the Constitution, not even Democrats. Trump the second coming of Christ. I don't think so. I can't see Christ calling for people to be hung or beheaded to stay in political office. But evidently Christian Trump supporters have no problem with murdering those they don't like politically.
