Always enjoy the word of God which you preach in truth, to God be all the glory! ❤ ✝️ 🙏
Proverbs 8:35 does not say "The will is prepared by the Lord" as Voddie quotes, Proverbs 8:35 clearly states: For whoso findeth Me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. I do not know why he says that it says "The will is prepared by the Lord", but clearly he quotes this wrong. I love Voddie's preaching, but he does quote this wrong. Voddie is one of the best of the best when it comes to preaching, but he is wrong here.
God does use the trials to bring some to repentance. Voddie is one of my favorite preachers, and 95% of the time, I completely agree with him; however he cannot say that God doesn't use the trials to pull people to repentance, and even the Apostle Paul says to the weak, I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. God uses different ways to bring people into His Kingdom. I do believe Salvation is 100% of God and election stands above all, but the Bible is also clear that we must repent, and God does use the trials to lead some to repentance. Teaching that He doesn't is not right because then the trials would have no purpose and I believe every trial has great purpose. Everything is about God and His workings in the earth. Funerals are proof that God uses the pain because many people repent at funerals because of the pain. Never let anyone tell you that God doesn't use the trials to save, it is of God, but man also must repent. God draws people to repentance.
Voddie, what you have taught in this sermon is not right, it is not biblical and yet you shout it with such confidence.
21 Nicodemus not Nebuchadnezzar when referencing reentering womb to be born again.
If he had the mind of a wild animal how would he know that he was being punished
I believe that the reason Calvinists and Arminians don't agree is because neither of them realize that both are true. God saves those whom He wishes, and he sends us out to sow the seed and gather the fish. That's why Jesus said, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." The ones that the Father gives Jesus are the Calvinists and the ones that come to Jesus that He won't cast out are Arminians. Well, they aren't really Calvinists or Arminians, of course, but that's how it works. If only those who God chooses come, then we have no reason to sow seed or gather fish, because God is doing all the work. They have no need of the word or witness. But it is my belief that Daniel was both word and witness to Nebuchadnezzar. Okay, I'm on the fence. I have to admit that. It is sometimes hard to get the Arminian over to the other side. But I'm still not sure why one has to choose a side or if that's even a prerequisite to salvation. The Calvinist certainly doesn't get to choose his salvation, so I'm not sure he has the right to choose a side, either. However, I have listened to this one teaching several times and intend to listen to it several more, or until I am certain. Well, maybe not certain, because that could take forever and I want to finish this series on Daniel and find out what other gems there are for my soul in here. Thank you GfBC!
– God has been redeeming Gentiles since the Old Testament. Eg. Rahab, Ruth and Nebuchadnezzar.
– Nowhere in the bible says that you’re supposed to accept or ask Jesus into your heart
– Salvation doesn’t equal prosperity
– Everyone has a relationship with God. Yes, even non-Christians.
– Your life can get worse after salvation. Look at the lives of the apostles who loved and served the Lord. Don’t buy the lie that salvation equals less problem and monetary increase.
– Nebuchadnezzar didn’t turn to God because he hit “rock bottom”. You don’t need to hit rock bottom to turn to God. We don’t exactly know what rock bottom is.
– Nebuchadnezzar didn’t help God save him. Nebuchadnezzar was saved supernaturally aka regenerated.
– The new birth is God giving you a will bent towards him that you then exercise by God’s grace
– All praises to God alone
– We see God’s kindness and mercy through Nebuchadnezzar
– Just share the gospel. You don’t have to be smart enough or crafty etc. Just share the gospel
THIS is the message.
Thank you, God.
Thank you, Rev Baucham.

Augustine’s prayer was Job’s first- As found in Job 17:3. The account of Job is the clearest OT book revealing the NT gospel. Praise God for its inclusion in the Bible
Lord, please if you can answer my prayers for the salvation of family members and others ❤
I wish there was a church in my area that preached the whole counsel of the Lord unashamedly like you!
My comment here will probably have nothing to do with the sermon you are preaching, but on December 24th 2022, I Saw you preach on false prophets and I will be a subscriber to you keep up the truth I felt your words alive.
I want to see this man preach. He really has cleared up some things for me that I was taught.
