Awesome video!!
"What do you think happens when you die?"
That is my go to question to start conversations. I experiment with other ones but this one is just so simple and it is very easy to tell what people believe based off of this one question.
Yes! I have been saying this forever. Often times the teacher often does more learning than the students. Another thing I say is that the one who does most of the talking is doing most of the thinking and the one who is doing most of the thinking is doing most of the learning. That is why I ask many questions when I am teaching, it gets people talking, thinking, and hopefully learning. Paul stresses in 2 Tim that we must be faithful men that are able to teach others:
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. – 2 Tim 2:2
And how do we learn how to teach?
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. – 2 Tim 2:15
We need to commit the Word of God to faithful people who are able to teach others also and if they can't teach then we must train them to study and rightly divide the Word of truth so that they too can teach others also.
I your the focus on both apologetics and evangilism. U really can't have one without the other. Apologetics without evangelism is pointless bc the purpose of apologetics is to get people to a place where we can share the Gospel and evangilism is becoming less and less effective without apologetics. It isn't a one or the other kind of deal, we need both together. Apologetics acts as almost a pre-evangilism a lot of times.
