Sketching a BOOK OF 1-2 KINGS Summary from the Bible
Watch our overview video on the books of 1-2 Kings, which breaks down the literary design of the book and its flow of thought. In Kings, David’s son Solomon leads Israel to greatness, only to fail and lead Israel to a civil war and ultimately towards destruction and exile.

Thank God for his patience and mercy in all of our lives.
The ending is similar to what David did to Saul and Jonathan’s last living descendant who was paralyzed… It’s almost as if this was David’s reward for his care and empathy of his enemies.
This is such good work. Having just finished reading 1 and 2 Kings, this video has been so helpful in consolidating the chapters. Thank you for all that you do and the free resources. Keep up the good work 👏 God bless
1:32 who are these people?
Amen and amen
It's so beautifully done 😍 Is there a book version of your videos? It would be cool to have the graphics and the commentary on a piece od paper and have it for reference during bible study 🤗
Wow! That was so we’ll explained and animated. Thank you so much. I just finished these chapters and was a little lost. This video brought it all together and made it make more sense. Thanks again
I need patience because 2 kings has been boring me to tears 😭
This is great. I have subscribed!
Thank you so much for these videos.
2:40 when you mean “Pharoah” you mean Rameses.
Stange that Ben Carson mentioned the need for a wolf. Maybe it was his secret code to warn people about a wolf in sheep's clothing that Jesus warned people about.
I will be starting my study of 1 Kings today!
Edit: Needed a quick recap to start off 2 Kings today❤
No matter how God punishes the isrealites and forgives them, they Always go back to idolatry. Right now Genesis till now I can't count the number of times they have rebelled against God and his convenant but still God is merciful and faithful to bring them out.
These Israelites tho 😅😅
God bless this project🙏
This was great. I hope you do more
David didn’t “conspire” on his deathbed to “murder” his enemies, as you put it..what your not understanding is the reason why God didn’t allow David to build The Temple was bcuz God said he had “too much blood” on his hands, from all the wars. So David made sure NOT ONLY would Solomon have all he needed to build The Temple but also Solomon would never have blood on his hands. So David wanted to make sure all their enemies were defeated. I love you guys but you get a lot of things wrong looking at these stories so analytically. You state the facts, alot of times, without understanding the mindset behind what’s going on
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWPOWOWOWOWOWOWOWPOWPOW GoD WINS
I enjoy watching these as I read each book. So far, the Hebrew Bible is about mankind's and specifically Israel to failure to meet God's standards?
Beautiful detailed explanation.
