Ask practically any American what’s different about America? Why are American values various, let’s state, than France’s worths or Britain’s worths or Uruguay’s worths or any Democracies worths? Is there anything unique about the United States and particularly is there anything unique about the American values system? Well in fact it is special; it belongs to the reason some individuals discuss what we call American exceptionalism, suggesting that America’s worths have actually been exceptional.
The individuality of the American worths system, which has made American distinct and has made the American experiment undoubtedly the experiment for humanity. That’s why individuals who come here absorb faster than in any other nation worldwide– without disparaging any other countries, and there are lots of terrific individuals in every country, and many unpleasant individuals in our own, undoubtedly.
Nonetheless the American experiment is special. Why is America unique.
I call it the American Trinity. The American Trinity is the 3 pillars of American values.
And I lastly discovered this originality of America taking a look at a coin one day. There it was in front of me my entire life, the American values system on a coin. We have all three worths on every coin and no other country has these 3: E Pluribus Unum, In God We Trust, Liberty.
No nation on the planet has those three values as its essence.
We do not care about your blood origins, your ethnic origins, your racial origins, your spiritual origins. From the many, one: you work with us to make America, you are one of us, whatever your color, creed, race or what have you.
In God We Trust. America is established on the notion that God is the source of worths.
That’s why the Declaration of Independence says that we have inalienable rights, but they’re not from humanism, and they’re not from excellent thinkers; they are from God. No God– then rights can be eliminated by people, since they were offered by people. God is central. The God that we’re talking about? That’s another course for another time.
