Greg Koukl of Stand to Reason shares how influencing someone for Christ can have a much greater impact if you first take the time to ask questions and listen to the other person’s story.

Beautiful! This is so needed in the Christian community, to listen and not feel we should react and respond to everything the other person says against Christianity. This patience and listening is showing the person love. And because of this they might even want to know what we believe. I like the idea of learning, and being understanding, and having the opportunity to show empathy and compassion to another human being, whether they end up becoming Christian in the future or not. I know that this honors our heavenly Father
My heart breaks for people who have been hurt by the church. It's a very real truth that the body of Jesus consists of real people who make mistakes and fall short. Glory be to God for all of the ways that He uses us despite ourselves.
Hilarious double standards.
