The ironic thing is that Elijah struggles with depression and despair for 3 years and yet he partnered with God all along … Just because you struggle with something doesn't mean it will consume you. And just because you struggle with something doesn't mean that God won't deliver you and contend for you.

What is interesting about Elijah also is that he met with Jeshua and Moses in the mountain at the transfiguration. 3 different worlds connect through Jesus. At the time paradise was down ,below earth next to Ades. But Elijah was in the heavens. . Moses in the other hand was down in paradise in the bosom of Abraham . So at that moment we see the heavens through Elijah and the dead world through Moses , connecting to the living world through Jeshua. Of course after Jesus resurrection , the paradise changed place and left the underworld for a place in one of the heavens.
