  6. I thank God for true pastors like Voddie Baucham. He studies and venerates the Word, and does not twist Truth to suit what he wants it to say, like some of the popular tv preachers do. Voddie stays true to the perfect Word of God.

  8. Pastor, the Lord has spoken to me through your messages. I listen to your sermons while I work and I have found my faith and desire for God growing inside me more and more. I'm not a baptist but I am your sibling in Christ Jesus. I have a question and I do not ask it as a challenge so please don't be offended. I find myself perplexed that much of the Old testament is showing us the preservation of the line of adam through Abraham and Joseph, yet Joseph had no part in the conception of Jesus. Jesus in human form was conceived in the Virgin Mary. So my question is simply why was this particular line so important to the birth of Jesus, the promised seed, when no DNA was required from it to produce the promised seed? In fact it was necessary to not involve this bloodline and to conceive our Lord through the Holy Spirit without the seed of Adam at all to so he was born without sin and not under the federal heads hip of Adam at all. I Feel like the role of Joseph in the life of Jesus could have been fulfilled by anyone, so why was the line of David so necessary to the coming of the promises seed, Jesus?

    I love you and I love pondering my place with God in the light you shine on the scriptures. Thank you so much for following the Holy Spirit. Through you He is reaching many!
