  6. Beautifully put. Thank You Jesus for blessing us so much! I also heard that salt of various forms is used in soil for farming, that without certain nutrients that nothing would grow. We are the salt of the soil (the earth) that makes things grow ❤

  12. To be poor in spirit is to recognize your utter spiritual bankruptcy before God. It is understanding that you have absolutely nothing of worth to offer God. Being poor in spirit is admitting that, because of your sin, you are completely destitute spiritually and can do nothing to deliver yourself from your dire situation. Jesus is saying that, no matter your status in life, you must recognize your spiritual poverty before you can come to God in faith to receive the salvation He offers.

    Why and how does being poor in spirit result in the kingdom of heaven? While the phrase can be broad in meaning, “kingdom of heaven” essentially refers to salvation. The kingdom of heaven is both eternity in heaven with God after death (Romans 6:23) and the eternal quality of life with God before death (John 10:10). God offers us salvation as a gift, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, the full payment for sin’s penalty. Before we can receive this gift, we must understand that we cannot make ourselves worthy of it. Salvation is by grace through faith, not of works (Ephesians 2:8-9). We must recognize our sinfulness before we can understand our need for a Savior. We must admit our spiritual poverty before we can receive the spiritual riches God offers (Ephesians 1:3). We must, in short, be “poor in spirit.”

  18. I really enjoy your work folks, well done. Something I'm not so sure about is your translation.. 'for theirs is the kingdom of the skies'. I'm aware that the root meaning of both the Hebrew and Greek is 'sky' however anyone who is multilingual understands that literal translation at times can't be used and sometimes even makes the translation of a sentence non-sensical. Also, what did the people of the day understand the text to say and how is that best translated into today's modern English. There is no question that the best translation is heaven(s) as is confirmed by the vast majority of Bible translators (except yours). The people of the day understood that Jesus was talking about God's special kingdom, the kingdom of heaven. If I were a new believer and heard the term kingdom of the skies, I would probably be confused, because the connotation is certainly not toward any 'heavenly' kingdom. The word heaven associates the kingdom with God, the word skies quite frankly just sounds like some mystical space without any particular association to God.
    Just a thought guys.. be happy to hear any feedback.

  20. There a few flaws; "Blessed" is very important — do not change this to "how good is life". Jesus is mis-understood several times during this presentation. But the Bible-Project is still a great approach to explaining general items. Salt is used inside the offerings on every step; the presentation misses this and a few other things.

    see that? you were sealed!!! with the holy spirit of promise till redemption , wanna say you can unseal loose that sealness? isn't that blasphemy againts the holy spirit .im not sure here

    how can you have peace , if you're worried 24/7 did i do right oo noo i fall short , did i maintained the law properly? the bible does say if you sin once you are guilty of all , please guys im not saying do what ever you want , because we are a new creations , the law is there to show you what is sin , but is your faith that he died for you that saves you ,not how well you keep up the law , as romans 4:5 says even if you dont keep the law do the deeds you are still saved, you will suffer loss but you will be saved , remember the greater in the kingdom of god and less ? remember his kingdom comes on earth , guys even iF an angel says something else like you can loose your salvation thats a LIE bible warn us about this an angel !! not some false preacher but an ANGEL! so please dont think that as a christian you must do this do that or you gonna loose your salvation , but once you believe that christ died for your sins and rose on the third day , you are sealed with the holy spirit of god until the day of redemption. many churches put people under law. is the faith that saves us , our good deeds will be rewarded in heaven , people who preach a work based salvation , in the end they gonna hear depart from me i never knew you. Soo that means law is done away we can go kill do this do that? ,No!!!! you get a MORALITY from god you dont do that , and even if you do something bad he chastise you make you feel guilty (Hebrews 12:5–6), but its the FAITH not the LAW what saves you , so lets say you steal something cuz you neede the money or you watch some dirty movie or had sex outside marriage and die right at that second you go to hell? see how stupid that is? you are sealed he died for your sins , past future present , but still you pray for your sins to be forgiven cuz they affect you while on earth , dont listen to me or any1 else saying you can loose your salvation or doubt it , listen to the bible .

    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

    7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:5-7

    Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

    Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. mathew 7:21
    and what is the will of father? TO believe "For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life.” (John 6:40)"

    Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. john 6:47 YOU HAVE EVERlasting life by faith

    But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

    Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. see its all about faith but you must know what sin is, and how do you know that ? bible!

    And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: philippians 3:9

    For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

    12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

    13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

  25. The New World will only house 500 million "or less" while 7 and a half billion people stay trapped and enslaved in this old dying world with their old ways. Humanity is and has been doomed beyond words, and it is incredibly unfair because there literally is no such thing as a return of Jesus. There's no such thing as an imaginary sky-daddy coming to save us all from ourselves. There's no such thing as a rapture. Religions were written and created by the freemasons who receive 33 degrees the same number as Jesus because jesus was a 33rd degree master mason.The rapture is not what people think it is what so ever AT ALL. Look up the real definition of the word rapture. There's a universal cycle that happens whatever thousand years it is I forget at the moment, but when it happens, MANY people will perish, and that's why it's called a rapture. It is a shift into a new world, a new age, just as it has always done since the beginning of time, but not many will make it to the new world. We get a memory wipe when we come to this life, and the reason is that we keep reliving this exact same life over n over n over again the EXACT same way called eternal reoccurrence. This is already our forever, and this is why secret society's have a good life because they know the life that you live and create is the life that you'll live forever, eternity. This is the point in the name "free" mason it means to live free. It's the point in the illuminated all-seeing eye, which represents our 3rd eye to be in control to know we are our own God that we are in control our own power which is why they do everything they can to take it all away from us so that they can be in power with control to have the good life because they know that if we all knew this secret then they wouldn't last. Humanity is and has already been doomed.
