  3. From one coming from a group that bases their denomination over the elect and predetermined sovereignty of God… how do you interpret the ones on the wide path to destruction……were they there cuz God decreed it and didn't love them enough to choose them ahead of time? Or how about the limited atonement… I see the blood of Jesus as a sufficient grace…that we are although undeserving of…we are all deserving punishment…but while Jesus offers forgiveness of sin (even for the ignorant) some people will just label others as depraved and unable to see the truth or hear the truth unless God has predetermined them to have the gift of faith prior to belief….

    I do believe the God of the Bible not to be the Author of confusion…but this doctrine of election seems to paint God as a tyrant through the lens of Calvinism….

    It divides people and destroyed the love of God for the world due to the predetermined views of a man trying to figure out God and now instead of trusting Jesus at His Word…we are gonna trust Augustin and Calvin to be more correct????

  7. The last part of the sermon resonated with me deeply and brought me to tears. I had 2 strokes May 2023 and the Lord walked me through all the way, now I am asking The Lord to place before me people who are going through the same thing, that i may help them and I thank God for my strokes as I can see with different eyes, going forward. Jesus will use you for His glory through your pains and setbacks. It is a wonderful thing and a gift.❤

  11. FYI Jack..if a wild squirrell has human sent on it the other squirrells will stay away..i have raised and released many squirrells in my time. Raised them from bottles..such a precious gift from God and i get to hold them..love them and yes kissthem..but when it is time to be realesed back into their home they let me know..they always came back and they would dance around me and talk to me but never did i handle them again..even tho some would jump on me and sit on my shoulder..i knew not to touch them..and yes..i learned the hard way..but it is for their survival..i love ALL OF GODS CREATION…thank you Jack for Always speaking GODS TRUTH…

  24. Pastor I think you were a little confused with your word choice of Calvanism as and theology in total. Calvinists are pretty much what you said you believe on the other hand Armenism theology is the ones that teach your salvation can be lost if you do not remain faithful. They do not believe in election of any kind and count human freewill as supreme. That a man can pull himself up by his bootstraps so to speak and come to faith all by himself with no influence from God. They downplay man's sinfulness and grant the ability of choosing God to fallen man with no effective call from the LORD having to have first occurred.

    From personal study, reading and listening to those much wiser than myself have come to the realization that neither Arminianism nor strict Calvinists are 100% correct.

    The Catholic, Mormon, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims and all the other religions are way out in left field.

    They either deny Scripture or twist It removing from or adding to It and deny His Word's authority or even Christ Himself.

    Only the LORD is sovereign and who can know His Mind.

    He can and does make some for mercy and some for wrath and it does not infringe on anyone's freewill.

    It's actually quite simple really:

    Imagine a door and on it's threshold is written,

    "Come unto Me", everyone who passes by that door can easily read that invitation, (the Gospel).

    Now anyone can choose to listen to or ignore it's invitation, but there must first be a call because we are incapable of heading it left to ourselves.

    Those who choose to enter however see this written above the threshold behind them once they've passed thru that door,

    "Welcome I've known, loved and chose you from before the foundations of the world".

    I pray everyone heads the invitation and hears the call even though the LORD tells me that is not for me to decide.

  41. I finally come to realize the entire Bible is there to teach us to learn to be slaves to God. Remember Jesus bought us out of the slave market of sin but now we are to be slaves to righteousness And to the calling of our Lord Jesus. His yoke is light. But when you think about the entire Old Testament before God made Israel a nation he let them be slaves for 400 years to teach them how. And every time they quit being righteous and worshiping God correctly he led them off to slavery somewhere else assyria then Babylon. We were created and put in the Garden of Eden to tend the garden and be God's slave. But just think about it, being a slave to the creator of the universe Is going to be awesome. And it will certainly be spending eternity in Hell. Just remember everywhere in the New Testament you see servant or bond servant that's supposed to be translated slave. Dulos in Greek means slave.
