Jesus never died on a cross he died on a stake!!!! The Roman’s killed Jesus and there tradition was to kill people on staked not crosses
It can be argued that Christianity went way of Jesus’ mission once Rome combined belief with governmental power.
Jesus’ Kingdom was not an earthly kingdom and yet we’ve pretended that it could be for almost 2000 years.
Question: is Eden a physical or Spiritual place? Jesus said to the thief on the cross " Today You will be with me in Paradise" . Hebrew word for paradise is Garden , Eden.

I want to be in heaven with God, but really do not like cities, no matter what they’re made of. I don’t care about gold and jewels, I love nature, plants, and especially the ocean.
Honestly ya we should talk about it much more. The end goal isnt heaven , its the New Eden , where the Lord's kingdom comes on Earth and we are reunited like before
note: after his resurrection the Lord himself said to the woman, "dont touch me for i havent gone to my Father yet". so he couldnt be in paradise the day of his death. he was to go in the opposite direction, into the belly of the earth for three days.

What happens when we die? We get a personal judgement, if we're found saved we most likely go to Purgatory where we will be cleansed of all of the remaining little sins we had at the moment of our death. Because as the Bible says, the imperfect cannot enter heaven and be in the presence of the Most High. Those who are saved will be before the presence of God and his saints, experiencing the real life and waiting for the second coming and the final judgement, and that it's when the bodily resurrection will occur where we will have a glorified body like our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is one reason why Jesus guided us to pray for God’s Kingdom to come. Because we are awaiting it to return to rule the Earth, just as he now rules in Heaven.
The Bible clearly states: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Hebrews 9:27
So we can expect to be judged by God after we die.
Verily I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise.
