One of the things we should do is love the Lord with all of our mind. Apologetics helps us do that.
I forgot who it was, but it was a very respected theologian that ran a college for Pastors: He was asked, 'Why don't they teach apologetics in seminary schools?' His short answer was: because we're about 60 years behind.
I have learned so much since I got interested in ' the evidence' ….. apologetics is a fantastic tool . The Word was enough for me but sadly in todays culture people want more and I feel more confident in discussion about the Lord when I have this additional tool. These days ….these LAST days are our last chance to make the point for Jesus .

So very true! Not all are "good soil". Different clearing, plowing, & fertilizers HELP prepare the soil for the seed.
